Has anyone heard how this is going to run. Is it going to be 1080 60 fps with a performance of 120 at 720 or what. I’d prefer to just get it on pc but for some reason developers still aren’t on the cross platform train and most of my friends are Xbox only. With it being single player or mostly coop frames and such as long as it’s 60 plus don’t really matter. But I’ve also no seen anything about it which usually isn’t good

Is there any good way to game stream over WiFi?

I have a fairly reliable connection to my in-home game server. My whole house is wired for gigabit ethernet over Cat 6a wire, and it is all running through an old (but reliable) Dell 16 port gigabit switch. My main internet gateway is a Ubiquiti Dream Machine in my living room and I have a UniFi 802.11ac Access Point in my bedroom. I can stream without issue up to 4K@120 Hz when plugged in to any network jack in my house. I would like to be able to stream to my laptop over 5Ghz WiFi, but no matter what I seem to try I get stutters and general lag issues. I'm not foolish enough to ask for 4K over WiFi, I'm targeting 1600x900 for WiFi gaming, but even 720p doesn't work. I've tried Moonlight, Steam Remote Play, Parsec, and other remote gaming services that I can't recall. The best experience on WiFi is generally from Steam Remote Play, but it's still not good.

The most frustrating part of this is that I can stream from GeForce Now and PSNow with very good results over WiFi. I can even stream from my Xbox One X with both ends of the connection over WiFi with playable results. Any help with tests that I can do or potential settings I can change is much appreciated.

Issues playing on Game Pass Ultimate (PC)

I have been trying to finish this game and play through the rest of the series afterwords. It's AMAZING.. when I can get it to fucking run properly. I keep running into all sorts of issues playing it on Game Pass. I started the game yesterday, took a few hour break to run some errands, and then came back to it. I ran into a resolution problem where upon launching the game, it forced my resolution to go from my native 2560 x 1440 to 1280 x 720. I figured it was a small happenstance and that I'd just launch it again. It did this like ten more times and quitting the xbox app, signing out, disconnecting wifi, restarting my pc, turning OFF my PC, all of this in between, solved nothing. My internet is super slow right now, and this game is about 45gb so I REALLY didn't want to resort to reinstalling it but that's what it came down to. After launching it once reinstalled, had no problems, but I just decided to go to bed after finishing a chapter because it was late. I hopped on after work to play a little today and the resolution is still working perfectly, great! Except now i'm met with an infinite loop in the main menu screen that says "Loading Profile Settings". Again tried everything to get this game to work as many times as before and AGAIN resorted to reinstalling it. Now the infinite loop is gone but it's back to the forced resolution problem. Reinstalling didn't do anything like it did the first time and I'm just throwing my hands up at this point because I've been trying to look up what the heck the problem is. I feel like all my excitement is drained and it sucks because I was seriously enjoying the game. Is anyone facing these issues and is there any suggestion for a fix?

Will connecting a DisplayPort or HDMI cable through my USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) force my laptop to use my dedicated GPU and output at a higher refresh rate?

I have a Lenovo 720s with a Geforce MX150 and Intel UHD Graphics 620. My 3440x1440 monitor supports up to 144hz and the laptop has a HDMI 1.4b port which supports up to 60hz at 3440x1440 resolution, but I'm only getting 30hz. I believe its the integrated graphics that is the limiting factor.

I want to purchase a USB-C to HDMI 2.1 or to DisplayPort 1.4 adaptor. Unless going to high bandwidth is an issue and I should stick to HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2??

I don't game much on my PC, I really just want to use the Citra emulator @60hz and I have a three month xbox cloud gaming trial I want to try out. It would also be nice to be able to get 60hz on youtube videos.

Thinking of getting something like this HDMI adaptor or this USB-C to DisplayPort cable

A800 Subaru WRX STI '15 (F4 Boxer Engine) / Rally Scramble / Weekly Challenge #3

A quick and competitive tune for those who want to keep things pure with a Subaru engine, and without the disgusting facial growth (light pods). It's built for Rally Scrambles/Circuits, so handling is prioritised. It's setup to be easy to drive and forgiving, including with ABS off, and it's very easy to consistently post fast laps so it's definitely usable in race events.

I've managed a 1:10:229 with this, but in better hands u/Atomic_Bananana was able to 01:09.116 and sub-1:09s are possible (also thanks for the initial advice to help guide this build to where it is now). Demolishes unbeatable AI on the Baja Scramble.

If we find more improvements, I'll keep updating this - it's a go-to rally build for me. The tune definitely still has some room for optimisation, and hasn't had a fully scientific approach; it was more of a road test and "feels right" approach to arrive at "ballpark" values.

Gave my old XBOX to a friend. His TV is 1366x768 but Xbox can only output 1080p or 720p. What to choose and why?? (More details below)

The question in the title is pretty clear. But I'm adding one detail that might add more confusion to the mix:

He uses this Xbox exclusively to play Apex Legends, which, from what I heard, is rendered at 1080p in the menus but can go as low as 620-580p in most intensive scenarios.

So, what setting (1080p or 720) will look better on his TV and why?

Laptop Recommendations for streaming an Xbox Series X through OBS?

I have tried streaming through my Xbox using OBS on a relatively old Linux computer. The framerate is unacceptable. I have tinkered with settings a lot; there seems to be no helping this computer.

In any case, my laptop hardly works and I am already in the market for a new one. So, it follows that my new laptop also replace this dying PC.

I have a capture card (HD60 S+) and a Series X. Does anyone know of a good recommendation that could stream to Twitch at an acceptable level (720 30fps) and at a high level (1080 60fps)? I'm hoping I don't need a full blown gaming laptop because the laptop is merely using OBS - and I hope to compare price ranges, if possible. There are just so many to choose from, and I have no experience with these type of requirements in a computer. Please help if possible!
