Gave my old XBOX to a friend. His TV is 1366x768 but Xbox can only output 1080p or 720p. What to choose and why?? (More details below)

The question in the title is pretty clear. But I'm adding one detail that might add more confusion to the mix:

He uses this Xbox exclusively to play Apex Legends, which, from what I heard, is rendered at 1080p in the menus but can go as low as 620-580p in most intensive scenarios.

So, what setting (1080p or 720) will look better on his TV and why?
