skill ceiling and fps, interested in feedback from champ+

so i started playing on xbox about a year ago with a panasonic tc-p42c2 720p television from 2010 and after 6 months/800 hours i was plat 1-ish. moved to a gaming pc with 120 fps 5ms response and got to diamond immediately. then i upgraded my television to a tcl 55p607 which has a 15ms response rate and 120hz and im high diamond on xbox, and in the meantime ive achieved high champ 1 on pc.

i feel like im at the skill ceiling again for 120hz and need 240. in total have about 1300 hours at this point. i practice all the time, but the way i felt about scenes going from my first tv to the computer, i feel about all scenes now... that i need more information and hate hitting a guess.

so people who have made the plunge to 240 fps, how much did it help, and is there a point at which it becomes necessary almost?

Elgato hd60s not working?! HELP!!!

So I just bought myself a Elgato HD60 S 2 days ago, i connected everything up to my Xbox one s and my pc, I have 2 monitors one for pc one for Xbox. When I open the software on my pc it’s a black screen, but I have signal! I have tried reinstalling the software a few times and updated all my drivers, the funny thing is... when I change my settings on my Xbox to 720p it shows up on the game capture software in 1080p! But my Xbox is in 720p and which I can’t play on because it looks like shit! But it’s just so confusing the fact that it’s displayin in the software as 1080p? As soon as I change my Xbox back to 1080p the screen on the software goes black. I have a half decent gaming computer which is defo up to spec to run the software, and a gaming monitor which is 1080p... please someone help me I’m losing my mind here ?!

What is up with the Xbox leaderboards for Imagine on Expert Guitar?

I swear something is bugged here. My high score is 81,046 with an FC, good for 166th place. Thing is though, there are people without FCs who have scored 86,644, and the high score is 87,095 by MaGna720. Now, you may say I just need a better OD path, but I’m using the path suggested by Alec’s site (2+1 3RY, 2 RO) and I’m getting nowhere close.

What am I missing??

Question about the X and S resolutions

Right now my roommate has an Xbox one X that is our primary Xbox. My roommate has a 4K TV where we have the X setup however I like playing in my room. I have a 720p 32 inch LG. My question that in terms of graphical fidelity do textures, would they S on a 720p or 1080p TV be the same as the X on a 4K tv? I recently bought a PS4 Pro and was thinking of returning it to get an Xbox One S instead so I can play in my room instead of downstairs.

New affiliate, need some advice on streaming at lower resolution.

First post here, new affiliate. First and foremost, I’ll start with my PC setup:

-AMD Athlon 5350.
-8GB Ram.
-EVGA GTX 970.
-MSI mini ITX.
-I’m running Windows 10.

My internet speed is ~170 Down / ~10 Up.

I’m an Xbox Streamer, I don’t have a capture card so I use Windows 10 Xbox app’s game streaming option to mirror my Xbox on my monitor and use a display capture source on OBS to capture.

Fortnite is my focus right now. My main issue is when I stream at 720p/30fps, my gameplay and party chat’s audio stops and cuts in/out. The gameplay doesn’t pixelate or stop, just the audio is affected. My first guess is that my PC isn’t strong enough to handle the multitasking of SLOBS, Chat Bot, stream labels and my Xbox capture. I noticed lowering resolution output did help stabilize my stream but while rewatching my broadcast I noticed it was still happening here and there.

To cut to the chase, I really enjoy streaming. As long as my gameplay sounds clear I’m okay with the resolution being meh for the time being. My alerts, overlays, chat events are smooth, but I just wanna know how low in resolution should I go based on my PC to have the gameplay at least watchable. Any specifics on resolution and bitrate would be appreciated!

Bvm-A24E1WU not working with some sources?

I recently acquired a bvm-a24e1wu with the hd-sdi, and sdi/composite/svideo cards. I've got an hdmi to sdi converter for HD sources, and a component to hdmi for my ps2, wii, and Xbox. The Xbox works in 480i, 720p, and 1080i modes and the wii works in 480i. However the ps2 doesn't seem to work at all and the wii and Xbox lose signal when I switch them to 480p, is there any reason why this might be happening?

Questions On the Siberia 800, P800

Having doing a lot of research I am pretty sure that I am going to go with the Siberia 800's but I have a couple of questions first that may change my decision.

1. I will be playing on Xbox One and PS4. I will not be gaming on a PC with these. I may directly plug into a laptop to listen to music or something but that's it. Do I need the 800 or could I purchase the P800 and use that on Xbox? The P800 seems to be a bit cheaper and I have read bad things about using the 800 on the PS4. Does the PS4 have problems with the P800's as well? I believe it is a problem with the chat mix.

2. I would like to take these from my game room to the living room occasionally to watch movies wirelessly. I have a Sony STRDN1080 receiver with a USB port in the front. Will I be able to take the headset out there without much of a hassle or would more work be involved for me to be able to do that? I'd rather not have to take the whole baystation with power cord out there every time that I want to do that. I have seen some other wireless headsets that just have a smaller usb transmitter which would be really nice and simple. The Arctis 7 may be a better fit for me for portability in my home if it's a pain.

3. I will be using these with a PS4 and Xbox One. I assume that PS4 will be fully wireless. Will the Xbox One be fully wireless as well or will I still need to use the chat adapter? Would this function be the same with the 800 and P800 if

4. Are these closed back? I know that they have leather ear cups so I assume that they are. I am looking for a wireless closed back headset to block out noise in my house. I currently use Tritton AX 720's and they don't block out much at all.

5. Can I travel with these and use wired or wireless with my phone? Wired is fine but wireless would be nice.

Please Ubisoft, give PS4 Pro and Xbox One X users a 60fps option, even if it means lowering the visuals a bit

I'd gladly take a 1080p option that maybe tones down the finer details and shadows if it meant 60fps. Hell, I'd take a 720p option if it meant 60fps (Nioh on the original PS4 came with a 720p 60fps option).

Many games are offering the choice to gamers now with a "Performance Mode".

(PC) Capable of 150 fps in windowed mode, locked to 60 in fullscreen 1080p

Hello fellow pirates. So to clarify why I’m bringing this up, I’ve a 144hz monitor, and it’s so nice when this game does run at high frames. Now, I saw this problem in the beta, tried the fixes then (tried them again on release), still no luck. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

• Nvidia Control Panel, swift vsync off for all 3D apps.
• switch vsync off in SoT.
• switch off Xbox dvr in windows 10 settings

Here’s things I’ve done that do get me able to run at 150+ FPS:

• use windowed mode
• full screen mode but in any other resolution that’s not native (900p and 720p were the two I tried with success at getting higher fps).

Having looked on reddit and about the internet (including their main forums) I’ve yet to see them address this issue, or a fix that works. So just chancing my arm in the hopes some kind soul may have found a way to do 1080p fullscreen and gain over 60fps, thanks in advance for your help!

With Apple Iphone X, Have smartphones *Finally* Matched X360/PS3?

I feel like we've heard this tagline a number of times in the past 4-5 years. A new phone would come out and people would talk about how they're as powerful as consoles now, citing some spec comparisons. But in reality, they'd never really been that close when you really saw what they were capable of in terms of gaming.

But after seeing the recent Fortnite mobile release(and Digital Foundry's analysis), I feel we've finally got to a point where we can say, "Yes, that indeed is the quality/performance of an X360/PS3-era game". Obviously Fortnite is not a cross-gen game, so there's no X360/PS3 version to compare it to, but the iPhone X runs it at 1461x665(almost same pixel count as 1280x720) at 30fps with graphics reduced to a level that it approximates a decent X360/PS3-era title.

It's taken a while, but I think we can actually use this tagline and not have it be an exaggeration or merely a theoretical on-paper spec comparison that doesn't bear out in reality.

Elgato stuttering/glitching in 1080p 60fps

Hi I bought a elgato hd60 last year decided to start using it may of 2017 up until September. Than I took a break till December when i came back to using the elgato it now every few seconds or every couple minutes it starts stuttering/glitching. When I use audacity and sync at the beginning of the video I sync at the end of the video and it's always desynced. I know I could go to 720p 30fps or 720p 60fps but I would like to try to have a resolution for 1080p 60fps. I have checked if my CPU is maxing out while using it and it is not. I use my Xbox one for it but decided to try my PS4 which still did the same thing. I changed my HDMI cords and still happened. The last thing I tried was buying a new elgato which it still occurs. Twitch stream Mac OS X help plz

So here’s the thing. I’ve been struggling for a long time trying to stream properly. I started streaming through the Xbox twitch app, works great! Some draw backs though 1. Can show anything on pc 2. No face came 3. No overlays ,,,,, and I wanna have overlays and facecam so I’ve been working on a way to stream through my Mac. SouNd flower, jack, etc hasn’t work. Going to try and boot camp it again. It’s been super frustrating all of these things. I’ve used obs and the el gato software to stream on osx and it hasn’t been about to consistently stream game sound, my voice, party sound, overlays, and at 720p 30fps. On the el gato software the Mac would have “encoding falling behind” on the lowest 720p settings. Someone please help!!

The Issue

For about 10 months, I HDMI'ed my laptop to this LG to play games on the big screen (and avoid an annoying color banding issue my laptop has). It worked flawlessly almost exclusively that whole time (once in a blue moon I wouldn't have any audio; unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable solved that).

Last Friday, I hooked everything up as I was about to start the Witcher 3. It worked and I saw my desktop on the TV. I got distracted by something and left it alone for a few minutes and when I came back, both the laptop and the TV had gone to sleep. No problem - I just woke my laptop up and turned the TV back on. Except this time, my desktop wasn't displaying; I got a 'no signal' error on the TV. It has now been a week and I've been unable to resolve this.

I did eventually make some progress, or at least a good discovery: when I connect the two devices now, the laptop will recognize the TV (I believe at the very start of this issue it wasn't doing this). It appears in the NVIDIA control panel, it appears as a sound output option, and I can select the different Windows project options and it definitely reflects each one I click (e.g., 'Extend' allows me to drag windows over to the second screen and I can see them enlarge once they pass a certain point. Of course, I can't see them on the TV).

Any thoughts? I'm pretty frustrated with it by this point. Thank you!

Troubleshooting I have attempted

• The LG still works with every other device - the Xbox One, the Switch, other laptops, etc. Every device works on every HDMI port on the TV and with every HDMI cable I own.
• The laptop recognizes and displays on another TV I own, a 720p I bought about five years ago. When I HDMI it to that TV, it works fine.
• I have tried other HDMI cables (which I know work) with my laptop on both HDMI ports the LG has (which I know work) to no avail.
• Here's something interesting. I thought trying the pass through feature with the Xbox One's HDMI in port would act as a less-than-ideal workaround/band-aid. When I try that, however, and go into the Xbox's settings to detect a device connected via HDMI in, it doesn't work. The Xbox won't recognize that anything's connected. The laptop will recognize the Xbox One by name. I connected the Switch to the Xbox One to try pass through and it worked instantly.
• I'd seen it recommended elsewhere to make sure the output display for the TV in the NVIDIA control panel is set to the correct one when connected. I've checked and it's set to the correct one by default (1920x1080, 60hz), but I still played around with those settings a bit just in case. Didn't change anything, sadly.
• I've set the TV as the main display in the NVIDIA control panel and tried all the different project options (duplicate, extend, 2nd only, etc.).
• I also saw on another forum someone solved this by changing the order they did things - TV off and laptop on -> plug HDMI into TV -> plug HDMI to laptop -> turn TV on -> voila. That didn't work for me. I've tried other orderings as well.

Troubleshooting methods I've yet to try/am going to try

• A clean install of the latest NVIDIA drivers.
• A factory reset of the LG.

Hey reddis, im a beat producer and got a lit new project with the title "Denke im Park an die Taube" (Eng~ "Staying in parks keep the pidgeon in mind") which is a quote/sample of Ernie & Bert scene i chopped.

My idea was to combine this with another love besides beatmaking, RL. Therefore i want to edit a video for which contains the beat itself combined with video material of Rocket league plays/goals/saves.

Problems streaming with OBS. Is it the pc the software or my connection??

Hello. I would first like to say yes I have spent ALOT of time looking for a fix for this before posting.

I recently built a new pc. I have a friend that likes to watch streams of PUBG and Sea of thieves. I figured that since I have a better pc I would give it a shot. I use to stream on Xbox with the built in streaming software and it worked fine. Now coming to pc I have used the built in software on and off and also use OBS. When streaming with either software I get lag in stream and audio stuttering and sometimes a black screen when I have a game up on my screen. Now if I have just my desktop up with obs up steam, discord, and like 3 web pages open everything is fine 60 FPS no lag or stuttering Or a black screen. I have tried every setting I could and even posted to r/obs One person said that it was the latest version that was bugged. Well that has since been updated as of yesterday. I used the auto config for OBS it recommended 720 at 60 with 3500 bit. I have put the bit rate as low as 1,000 and it works then but will be so pixilated why watch it.

1. Get your ass some new clothes, specifically go to ROSS. That's right. Pull up either with some homies or solo dolo - you gotta own it regardless. we're tryna make you a pussy magnet that everyone wants to put on their snap story.

get yourself a nice lil make over. Get some phresh threads to make yourself POP like a bag of pop-rocks on an ASMR channel. You're thinking u/trustmeimdonaldtrump...you serious rn? Ross? Damn straight homie. The first step to making your life good, is to LOOK good. Best way to feel good is by wearing some fresh new kicks & threads that makes all the ladies go damn...where dat boy shop at? Let me take him home and suck his dick to find out.

After we get you decked out in supreme lookin like Ricegum's autistic cousin we gonna get you jacked. Now you aren't body building or trying to be the next Strongman but getting you in the gym and slapping some fuckin steel will get your confidence boosting like you just did a fat bag of coke off some DDD's. After we get you souped up like Nascar it's time to change that fuckin diet. It's not delivery - it's diabetes! That's right, it's time to stop eating frozen pizza, and all that fuckin gluten my guy. You know the produce section of the grocery store? You know, the isle you breeze right past so you can book it to the chocolate milk and donuts? You're about to make the produce section your bitch. Grab every vegetable and fruit and put it in your fucking basket. You wanna be cool right? You wanna feel normal right? Changing your diet will actually drastically change your depression and anxiety. There's scientific research to back this shit up homie. So grab some coupons because this shit isn't gonna be cheap.

You're gonna stop jerking off. This one. is. fucking. HUGE. This will be the hardest task but let me explain why this is so important. I'm going to actually sound insane and it's crazy to me that this is not talked about more in therapy/mental health but here's the reason why jerking off less will help you shape into a productive & out-going human being.

When you jerk off - you give yourself free dopamine which should be earned in a different way. From achieving goals, creating progress, learning new skills, talking to girls, etc etc. If you reduce the amount of free dopamine you give yourself, you'll be more inclined to be a "go-getter".

But u/trustmeimdonaldtrump...I love to jerk off! How does this have anything to do with me being cool? It has everything to do with being cool and trust me. Stop jerking off and you're gonna start seeing some results.

(If you made it this far) Let's break down what being cool is. Some of us all have different interpretations about who is "cool" and who isn't so this will be as general and broad as possible.

1. Lots of friends

We're not talking about myspace friends, we're not talking about this persons top 8. We're talking about IRL they can go out and always have a crew with them. That guy you see in the movies & TV shows with the black leather jacket not talking to anyone while all the girls stare and oogle at him? They aren't cool, they're fuckin weird. They're not shit after high school. Not only that - they don't exist. Don't let TV define what's cool because doing everything you see on TV? that's the first step to being a poser. Someone that plays by their own rules can be cool, but a truly socially inept person will understand when to adjust to their surroundings. Someone who's cool will be cool to anyone in any situation - at work, at their AA meeting, during chess club, whatever the fuck it is they're gonna be the bees-knees.

1. Lots of prospects for sexual intercourse

Now this one is kinda subjective because in today's society it's sorta ok for a dude to do this and not a chick. If you ask me? I don't agree. As long as you aren't mutually exclusive with someone, fuck away my dear friends. (just wanted to get that out of the way)

Now having a lot of sexual partners is easy imo - but being able to OWN it is a mastery in itself. You know what's cool? Wearing a fucking condom you sick fucks. That's right, unless you both just walked out of the clinic where you got tested I'd wrap that shit up my guy. Having the clap isn't cool. So wrap your shit up and get to fuckin because with that new look and muscles you're gonna have a line out the door. There's not really much else to say other than put yourself out there and make sure to keep it CCC (calm, cool, collect)

1. Has cool stuff (to go with a cool personality)

Listen - no one likes a jerk-off who just brags about stuff they have. hey look at me I just stood in line for a week in the rain for a xbox 720. Wow dude really dope, did you give your mom her credit card back while you're at it?

Basically, if you're cool - no matter WHAT you buy is going to make you look even more cool. If you're a lame loser and you think having a stripper pole in your house will make you seem higher up on the social totem pole I promise you got another thing coming. Everyone, and I mean even the fucking people who don't even know you will think you're full of shit.

Find a hobby, own it, invest in it, don't put it too proudly on display but let it be known. if you're TOO obsessed with something it puts people off. Find a happy medium. You like south park? Cool! It's a great show! Maybe when I walk into your room it shouldn't be covered head to toe in south park gear though.... you feel me?

1. Someone who'd never actually say outloud that they're cool

This is fucking crucial. Do really attractive people go around telling people they're super hot? No. Why? Cause they don't fucking have too. People will tell them FOR them. You think any of the greats in music ever brag about how good they are? No, they fucking don't. Being humble is so important. There are many talented and reasonably fun people who are awesome until up to this point. I've lost a lot of respect for people who think they are the shit - it almost makes me want to see them fail because of their cocky attitude. What i'm trying to say is - do your thing and don't expect special recognition from it. If you seek that validation, it's more than likely never going to happen.

1. Clout

Now this one is very controversial to say. But basically if you get a lot of recognition on social media from a project that you're involved with, that is quite cool and attractive these days.

But clout goes a tiny bit deeper than that imo - basically if you're successful in whatever you do that's all it takes. If people are talking about you, that's clout. If people want to BE you. that's clout.

how to get clout? That's a whole different post - but here's a short short short short version. Start your own project, grind until it's popular. That's it.

1. Good looking or a good sense of humor (these are the exact same in todays age)

It's not really that crazy to say that having a sense of humor can get you girls completely out of your league. This is my bread and butter right here. I would of probably never fucked a hot girl in my entire life if I couldn't make them laugh. Being funny and (charming) is basically being THC frosting on a okay tasting cake. I can't teach you how to be funny because if I could I'd be a fucking billionaire.

however to be good looking? you'll already have that down if you did the very first steps. new clothes, haircut, diet, workout - you'll be way closer than you were before.

1. A prominent social media with high followers and interaction

This is for the millennials. This is for the younger crowd for sure and this kinda falls under Clout. 10k followers on instagram and there's suddenly something a little more interesting about you. It's absolutely true for girls that are 18-25 and even as a male I find myself more intrigued when a girl is repping 20k twitter followers from her myfreecams account. It's cool, they're doing their thing grinding out their own brand and there's something attractive about a go-getter in that sense.

So I hope this helped with someone. Notice how none of that had anything to do with drugs. You don't need drugs to be cool, and I promise you a brutal 7 hour work-out and healthy diet will take away 90% of peoples anxiety here. A social group of friends, hobby, goals, and an prominent social media + sex life is a nice way to ease your depression. I feel like most people who have that are not fucking depressed.

[XBOX] DPS Tracker.

Hey folks, I’m pretty new to the game and just hit 50, I see lots of posts saying you need to have a certain amount of DPS to do trials and veteran stuff, my question is, how can I track my dps on xbox?

I have the damage and healing indicators on but that doesn’t really show me my actual dps.

Also, the people in this game seem really nice, I was just in a dungeon yesterday and a CP720 was in our group, he made sure every mob got cleared so we could get max xp, he made sure everyone got the lore books and quests etc, he gave some equipment to a lower guy and everything.

Elgato HD original pass through question

My Xbox S and tv natively support 4K/HDR, my Elgato doesn’t, but what about as a pass through? If I’m streaming in regular 720 or what have you, can I find a workaround to get the pass through to be 4K/HDR? I haven’t been able to unless I plug directly into my tv.

Completed £1500 build! Thank you, r/BuildAPc!

Alright, I want you guys to know the backstory to this PC, as I am proud, and feel accomplished about it. Not needed to read, so feel free to skip. I worked a 32 hour work week in a kitchen washing dishes for this PC - ontop of 40 hours of school a week. I worked 2 months straight working a 6 hour shift on Friday and a two 12 hour shift on a Saturday and Sunday. I came out exhausted, but still kept going to school, and passing classes. Before hand I was using a shitty AMD A-10 laptop, which could only run CSGO workshop maps at 720p. (I spent about 200 hours before I even hit up competitive.) I then quit after 2 months when I hit about £950. I bought the PC in November, 2017 and built in December.

The Struggles:

• I was using 60hz until January as I thought HDMI would transmit 144hz - I am now using Display Port.
• Storage Space - I only had a 250GB SSD until February.
• Headset - Didnt have a headset (and hugely regret this headset I bought (was £80% off so was a steal though) as it really is shit.
• At first, I didnt have a desk, so i didnt know how to use my PC, so I came up with this solution... I came out with horrible back problems and yeah... it sucked. See for yourself.

The Build:

Here is the completed build! Cable management is all done except under the desk, my next pay-day (new job working with an old coworker at a small diner - 20 hours a week over the weekdays being a line chef - yes, I ranked up! Woo!) will be buying a 4k TV which will be above my monitor to use as a TV for my room, but will be used for my PC too - and cable management supplies to hide it all, maybe a net under my desk for the wires to land.

The room will be redecorated in the next few weeks when I get a couple weeks from school, it will be just a white wallpaper as we moved into this house about 6 months back.

Benchmarks:

• Here. This is before any overclocking is done. Overclock is now at 4.0Ghz / 1.415v
• MSI afterburner causes me to hard crash and weird things when I turned on Windows.

Alright, I now have 1 huge problem with my PC which 2 /r/Buildapc threads couldn't help fix :( :

My PC hard crashes - real hard. Normally random, but while playing a game whether that be CSGO or PUBG or Adventure Capitalist. I first thought I fixed it by reseating my ram (faulty connection?) it worked for maybe 24 hours but the hard crashing still happens. I'm guessing it's hardware, which fortunately if it is, I can repair without too much hassle as payday is next Monday and I do not have to pay any bills due to being 15.

Here is the most helpful post of them all, but I am now having hard crashes every 30mins - 1 hour. I tried to OBS capture when it breaks while having speccy open, but it's crashes at around 60c so i'm not sure it's heat related. Last post. Any help would be great as it is ruining the feel, and all the Windows Event Log errors are here.

I am very surprised to learn that the issue with Game DVR audio being out of sync has been known for about 4 years and still no fix. Can we get some attention on this?

I've been creating Fortnite content for YouTube and recently discovered the awesomeness that is 1 hour recording of 1080p gameply when using an External HD and Game DVR.

Unfortunately, clips longer than 5 minutes or so start to experience out-of-sync audio to the tune of a few seconds at least.

While googling for a solution, I've learned that as long ago as 4 years ago people have been complaining about this. As little as 3 months ago there was a post about it on this very sub.

This is really the only option we have to capture gameplay (outside of broadcasting to Twitch and downloading 720p gameplay) that we have.

I'd love to get some attention to the issue and get an official response from XBOX.

Gaming on Lenovo 720 15" 4k w/ 1050 and Xbox one X and PS4; Considering monitors... Advice please?

Hey guys,

So I have been gaming on a 23" Samsung Monitor or my laptops 15" 4k monitor (both 60hz). I've never tried 144 hz and am interested. I play Overwatch, Wow, Civ, and a few random PC games.

I mainly game on my Xbox One. I was considering moving this to a desk as I get more competitive in Overwatch. I have an Xbox one X, Xbox one S, PS4, and my laptop.

I am considering getting an egpu like this one and upgrading monitors. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125990&ignorebbr=1 for an eGPU and upgrading monitors.

I also want to set my Xbox one up on a desk as well for gaming. ( could save the xbox one x for playing in front of TV and use the S for desk.

I want to get a monitor (maybe ultra wide) or 2 monitor setup for my PC and Xbox One X (I play in 4k HDR on a very nice 55' tv).

4k HDR monitors are very expensive. Especailly at 144 h and I'd like to be able to play my Xbox one in 4k HDR.

So would yall recommend getting 1x 1440p 140/144 or w/e hz monitor and 1 4k 60hz monitor? Or just give up the pipe dream of Xbox one X gaming and save that for the TV and game on my Xbox one S at a desk.

Or should I look unto an ultrawide curved that does it all. I would bet 4k HDR monitors will come down in price eventually so could just even buy 1 for time being.

I wanted to spend under 1k between both but the less the better.

Question, Xbox 360 version has 1080p completely random?

I'm considering wether I'm having a psychosis or something. I've been playing the game on Xbox 360 for a few days now to eventually get all the achievements finally after having owned the game since October 2011. So about one hour ago I launched it up and noticed some colder color at the character menu and the when I loaded the character I noticed very crisp details on the armor that normally has that unfocused 720p filter. I walked around various areas but it still feels as if it's 1080p. What the heck is going on O.O ?

Framemeister compatibility

I recently bought a framemeister that works great on my computer monitor and living room TV. However it won't send a signal to my primary gaming tv (samsung LN40D630 lcd). My TV recognizes that something is plugged in but the video output light on the framemeister doesn't illuminate and no signal is received. I've tried changing resolutions and other settings as well as updating firmware. This tv works great with my PS4 at 1080p, Xbox 360 at 720p, and GameCube at 480p all through HDMI. It even correctly displays 240p over component. It also worked fine with a DVD upscaler at all resolutions. I've run out of ideas to try is there anything that might cause this incompatibility? Might try a different power supply. I've been accessing the framemeister menu and testing on my monitor and then unplugging the HDMI cable and moving it to the tv. Even HDMI pass through won't register. The issue seems to be that the frameister doesn't realize it's connected to a tv.

The Devil May Cry franchise deserves better than another low-effort HD collection. Dante’s Awakening is still a great game that you should play if you haven’t already. However, the second game is terrible and the first game is a little rough due to the awkward camera. The lack of any extra content celebrating this great series is disappointing and makes this collection hard to definitively recommend for new and existing fans alike.

Devil May Cry HD Collection is quite the same HD Collection we've already seen on PS3 and Xbox 360, with just 1080p instead of 720p (and without any support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X - you get 4K resolution only on PC). Game menus and many cutscenes are in SD and 4:3, hard to believe in 2018. But sadly true.

On the flip side, if you've already played, owned and beaten these games and already have the HD Collection that was released in 2012, then this is a 2/5 because Capcom didn't even bother adding anything worth re-purchasing this title for outside of owning it on current gen for convenience.
