so about a year and a half ago I stupidly acquired a BlackMagic Intensity Pro 4k... one device I've still NEVER been able to use properly.
The only time I can use it for a stream is if I open up BlackMagic Media Express and switch to Log and Capture and add that screen as a source in OBS. This doesn't capture audio well and also includes a dumb 00:00:00:00 clock at the top of the screen. Needless to say I gave up streaming Xbox games forever.
Finally I'm back to screwing around with this damn thing and acquired OBS Studio to do so, as people said it works well with BlackMagic devices.
If I add the BlackMagic Device in directly as a source (which appears in the list after clicking Add) - then it WILL work in OBS only if I have the Xbox set to work in Standard Definition.
The moment the console is in 720 or 1080p - it ceases to work in OBS and I have to go back to using the shitty source from the BlackMagic Media Express app..
What can I do before I take a gun to my Xbox, computer, and then my own head because I've never experienced more incompetent frustration in my life.
