Pretty hyped but...

Hi everyone,

I'm hesitating to buy a GPD Win but several things kept me from doing it for now:

  • control quality seems really off and i don't want to receive some unit which would not work or cease to work after a few weeks/months, that point is the one which bothers me the most

  • shoulder buttons especially L2 and R2 seem awfull, are they as clicky and misplaced as they seem ?

  • more generally is the gamepad at least as good as an xbox 360 one ?

  • custom configuration seems a bit heavy but not too complicated, i'm not scared at all b it but once you've done the necessary things, can you live your life with it or do you have to regularly tweak and custom things (games especially)

  • not sure about it but best resolution doesn't seem to be 720p but a slighty lower one, which bothers me (I would play a lot of old rpgs and/or indie games with possibly a lot ot text), is the display crisp and clear enough to read small text ?

  • heat seems to really be an issue

Finally I'm hesitating the most because of the possibility of a GPDWin 2 not so far way which would likely be a corrected version of the first one and maybe with a better form factor

So in my position would you buy one ?

I would mostly play indie games and not big AAA
