I'm new to streaming and so far I've just been using the Twitch app on the Xbox to stream, but I've been thinking I'd like to invest in a capture card. I would appreciate suggestions. I've looked around and can't seem to find anything cheaper than $150ish. Is that pretty standard? I was hoping to find something in the $50-$100 range. Most of the ones I've seen capture 1080p and 60 FPS, but I'm not sure I need something that fancy. I think I'd be fine with either 720p or 30 FPS. Maybe I'm wrong. I'd also like to use it to just capture video and not necessarily stream it all the time. I'm assuming that can be done. I would primarily be using this for Xbox One and maybe the Nintendo Switch, once it comes out. Any suggestions for something that might fit my needs?
