Nintendo: Create an ad for giant hype and give the idea we're bouncing back because this is a game changer.
Reality:
Nintendo instead of going for the "Next-gen" console idea they're going at half-gen speed and even still they're about 2 generations behind Playstation and Xbox.
the screen on the switch is only 720p? Seriously? Most basic smartphones are at 2k, 1080 has been basically a standard for the last 5 years, if not more. And its 2017. on their "next gen" console. And you KNOW their network is still going to be from the early 2000's and they have the audacity to make you pay for it now? Secondly. How in the hell, are you going to charge $80 for both controllers packaged together and $100 separately? Just speculating here, but my guess is they're still wirelessly connected when docked to the screen which is dumb but meh, whatever, nothing big.
ISN'T IT LIKE A FUCKING HOUR OR TWO OF GAMEPLAY ON THAT BATTERY?!
Lastly. Zelda. And their fucking game line up for launch, and their price point.
You are seriously going to have a game that was designed for the previous generation be your flagship game for your new console and have the shit only in (from what I heard) around 900p resolution? And you're still going to charge $300 for this game system when a brand new Wii U is also still $300 and try to make it a successful launch with some inconsequential "Knack" type games?
TL;DR They're blowing it already like they did with the Wii U.
