[Tech] Apps are really zoomed in..

So, this isn't a problem with games, but everytime I use an app, the edges get cut off, this is very annoying.

I went to the Xbox one's display settings, and it had the green guidelines that showed where the display should be set, but even after changing my tv's aspect ratio, the green arrows got cut off. As far as I know you can't change the screen options on the xbox, it just shows you how you should set up your tv. My xbox one isn't showing the entire image, I'm missing a few inches every direction.

Is this perhaps a problem with my HDMI? Can anyone help!?

Edit: My TV is 720p, changing the xbox's setting from 1080 to 720 did nothing but make everything really blurry.

Edit 2: Streamed to my pc, the screen is just fine, I'm out of luck with my tv then?

I don't want to sound entitled but this is something the xbox should be able to do natively.
