Does anyone else fear that after scorpio comes out, devs won't put in the time and effort to properly optimize games for the original xbox one?

Think about it, properly optimizing games requires a lot of time and effort by game developers. We know that the xbox one is capable of 900p and even sometimes 1080p, but doing that requires extra development and fine tuning many technical details. And we know that if a dev does not put in the effort the game will definitely be 720p. I have a very bad feeling that after Scorpio drops, devs just aren't going to care about putting in that extra effort to get the most out of the OG xbox one. If many devs cant even do 900p now, think about how it'd be when they have to develop for two consoles. They probably might think it's not even profitable to put in the extra development for the OG anymore after Scorpio drops. This would be extremely sad since I'm not going to buy Scorpio for at least 3 or 4 years, I really have no need for it and I bought the xbox one to last me at least 6 to 7 years. Does anyone else think this is going to happen?
