System for Halo Infinite at 1080 60

tl;dr: MiniPC/Small Form Factor PC that is able to run Halo Infinite at 1080 resolution at 60 fps?

Please note: it will probably be a good while before I actually pull the trigger on this (money a bit tight at the moment), but I'd like to know what I should save up for so I can know for how long etc…

I already have an Xbox Series X that I game on in the living room, but for various reasons I'd like to have a Windows box (I use a Mac Mini + Apple Studio Display for my productivity computing).

For most of my tasks I reckon any Windows computer will do (they're all lightweight tasks), but there is one thing that gives me pause: running Halo Infinite. I've tested various configurations on my better half's gaming PC and while 1440 (or even 4K) is very nice, I found it to be just fine at 1080. (I tested 720 and the blurriness gives me a headache and Halo Infinite's UI doesn't actually scale properly that low).

So is there a compact system that:

  • Is compact system of some kind. I value size, but ultimately footprint is the most important (i.e. both Mac Mini sized box and tall but narrow is acceptable).
  • Supports connecting to screen via USB-C directly and supports audio and USB-hub through same connection. Bonus points if confirmed to work with Apple Studio Display.
  • Is able to run Halo Infinite reasonably stable at 1080 resolution and 60 fps. (Super bonus: runs it at 1440).
  • Price is obviously a consideration, but if it simply takes more money I suppose I'll just have to save for longer (I'm willing to save for year(s) for this if that's what it takes, there's no rush, tho I'd be interested in something super cheap that can run low-end games in the meantime).
  • Quiet is definitely valued tho I'm willing to put up with some noise in use as long as it's quiet during idle.
  • Stable system with a minimal amount of fuss (I like devices like Mac and gaming consoles for a reason). I stopped finding building, troubleshooting and tinkering with PCs
  • Bonus point for integrated power supply (just like the Mac Mini) as I find external bricks to be messy to work with and I often worry about their heat when tucking them under my desk so I try to avoid them. My impression is that these makes stuff decidedly non-compact in the PC world so my assumption is that this won't be an option.
  • Aesthetic that jive well with Mac Mini, Apple Studio Display and boring neutral stuff in general. Neutral boring metal silvers or blacks. Greys and whites are OK too.

I've looked at some of the 780M equipped AMD APU based systems like the Beelink GTR7. The Minisforum NUCXi5 also seems interesting, as it seems to be closer to a traditional gaming PC so I assume it will handle most stuff just fine.

Otherwise: thanks so much for the resources here. It's very helpful.
