Hey All,
I have been back streaming for about 2 years or so now, I usually stream straight from my PS4 to Twitch and upload VOD to YouTube, but the quality is not the best and PS4 can only output in 720. When I stream Switch games I do have a capture card but my options are my old laptop, which gets the job done, but has moments of freeze and stutter. My parents got a new desktop about a year ago and I got their old one, but when you try and do high performance things such as Skype or streaming to OBS, the computer will shutdown and reboot on its own. Folks have told me it's a GPU issue?
Anyways, If I wanted to go out a buy a new computer simply to be a middleman that uses OBS and stream games from a capture card using PS4, Switch or Xbox, what is a good PC or laptop to look for? Laptop would be best for portable nature, but open to any ideas. I don't do any PC gaming or anything like that, I just want to get a computer that I can run OBS on and stream games in 1080.
