DLDSR resolutions are not recognized until after the client is launched, and the resolution is re-selected in the Settings menu.

I tried the usual trick, where you switch Windows to the DSR/DLSR resolution before launching the game. This didn't alter the outcome, however, so I'm presuming the issue is on the game client side, rather than the usual nvidia driver side.

I'm at a loss here (remote play/transcoding not working anymore).

This is buggin' the hell outta me. I'm not new to Plex at all. Recently my PC bit it, k, whatever, that's why there's backups. Got a new cpu, mb and hdd. I could now qualify for win 11, so i did. Now I have a few users that can't play stuff very well or at all

- My previous build was quite similar and had zero issues with remote, even if it was transcoding.- most my media is only 720p and mp4 (a bit of mkv), audio is kinda mixed, mostly srt subs if used.Again, has never been an issue.- My new cpu is a ryzen 5 5600g (better than what i had)- New mb is ROG Strix b450-f gaming II.- Nvidia Geforce 1050ti- Internet speed is 100 down, 15 up.- I set up their clients and even got proof again that they are indeed set for direct play/stream.- Server is also set to direct play, original/max quality, no restrictions.- HW transcoding enabled if needed.- Seems everything plays fine locally.- Drivers are all up to date. Same with software.- I looked at speed test for the one client and it was 280 down and 31 up.- Tested mine as well, it's what it should be.

- I have tried setting limits to streams, bandwidth.- Allowed unsecure connections.- Disabled relay.- Increases bandwidth throttle.

Errors include not being to find profile for devices, not enough bandwidth and cpu not powerful enough.I'll attach a log and screenshots.I don't know what to do. I'm looking at using Tdarr, but i'm not sure it will even help at this point. It's not like i'm even serving 1080 it's 720, aac and ac3 are the prominent audio, which the devices are capable of. Plus, i never had to before.

At this point I'm considering having to redo the whole thing again, which probably wouldn't even help.

If anyone could help please, it would be great! I really didn't want to have to post about it, but I am at a loss. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

**A little update**
- The link above now has 4 new screenshots. 2 with transcoding off and 2 with it on. I tested with doing an optimization of one of the problem files. I used Xbox One as a the base custom profile, kept the resolution of the original (720p) but lowered the bitrate to 4 mbps from 17. With transcoding ON it maxed out my CPU..not using the GPU really, if at all. (What is being used could be other apps). With it off the CPU jumped to 60-70 but didn't even create an optimized version.

How To Increase Edge Browser Resolution, Only 720P ??

Just got a new Series S - using the Edge Browser on a 4k tv, but the resolution is only 1280 x 720. Is that actually the max resolution this xbox can output using the browser, or is there settings buried somewhere that I'm missing? I know Series S can't do 4k gaming, but it can still output 4k video right? So what's up with this browser resolution?

Help with upgrades for Streaming / Work PC! :D

I use to be quite tech savvy in the past when it came to upgrading my PC, but my knowledge on internal hardware is sadly out of date by at least a decade or more these days and I usually deter to more knowledgeable people on this subject.

I could really use the help of others that are more up to date with helping upgrade my PC this time around for Streaming games on Twitch and Video editing/rendering! for work since I'm getting more involved with the editing side rather than the modelling side of things :D

1080p and FPS question.

My last XBOX was a 360. You could go into setting and set output mode to 720/1080 and get a performance boost.
From my understanding is that there is no such option in the Series X system menu and performance/fps is controlled mostly through in-game menu settings.

I'm still gaming on a 24" 1080p computer monitor and have no plan to upgrade to 4K monitor anytime soon. I have a 4K TV in the living room I rarely game on.

Question is, will I the Series X give me an FPS boost if for example I had everything maxed performance in-game? Since I'm asking for 1080p. Or will it always output 4k and the only fps boost is to adjust in-game settings?

Technical Side: Switch Pro Should Have Been An Easy Because Of Apple Silicon

Just a new quick take on Switch and the ever changing world of game and performance

We all know Switch is basically an ARM based computer with a display and controller attached. The argument that Switch would never reach the level of game fidelity of PS5 and Xbox Series X should be put to bed because of Apple’s New Lineup of Chip - The Apple Silicon

Apple silicon is one of the most powerful ARM based SOC you can find and it is running from on an iPhone, iPad and Mac. Base M2 / M1 chip mac already running RE: Village natively with no performance hiccups at all.

Nintendo is buying off the shelf part such as Nvidia Tegra chip should have been replaced with powerful ARM chip such as Apple silicon to power the next generation of switch. Where in portable mode it should run like an iPhone level performance but when it is docked we can add additional RAM, fan and other components to augment the already powerful SOC. It is time to demand more from Nintendo to buy better parts for its systems

In the end with more powerful ARM based SOC we could have a powerful device that slimmer than Steam Deck to run our New Mario Kart 9 with complete texture and details with the newest unreal engine on locked 720 l 60 FPS

OG xbox through GC573?

So i decided to dig out my big fat OG xbox.. not an xbox one the original xbox "I know some people get confused" So i have a insignia AV/HDMI converter that can display 720/1080 output and it does the job no issues whatsoever. Here is my issue.. I have a AverMedia Live Gamer 4K - GC573 as my capture card i love this thing but im not getting no video? Ok before i go let me make it clear that the Converter box shows "NO SIGNAL" With a blue screen so i know its being displayed through the Capture card but the issue is there is no video feed from the xbox i hear the sound but no video output. So i did some trouble shooting cause i can't find anything and made sure it even works so i tried hooking the converter box up to just my monitor to see if it even displays and it does video and all. I just find it weird that i have sound and video but not the xbox vide. For this to make sense i can add on discord if anyone is willing to help me out on this. I'm not good at explaining things as much.

Forza Motorsport 7 Wheel Tunes

I had no idea how hard wheel tunes were to find...Just fishing here. I returned to Xbox and the Forza Series after getting bored with GT7, but this time I am on the wheel (TS-XW). I noticed that all vehicles drive completely different than the controller, especially RWD. I figure FM7 might see an uptick in players until the FM8 release which is looking more and more like Fall 2023.

If you are struggling with the wheel and want to try a different setup please see below, and give it a test drive.

So these are my current wheel settings. I changed my rotation to 720 after this screen shot. My setup is not too strong but that is my preference. If you want stronger, play with the Center Spring amd wheel damper. Anyway, hope this helps.
