Potentially helpful discovery

We all know that the listed minimum spec for fall guys is a GTX 660, however I have recently found that this is more like the minimum spec for 1080p 60fps

So for context, I am away from my main gaming PC at the moment, and I only have access to my switch and my laptop. I tried to play on the switch for a while, but the jump from 144fps to 30 just killed any chance of me winning, and the input delay didn't help either

I decided to give my laptop a shot, it does have an Nvidia GPU in it (an MX110), so I dropped the games resolution down to 1280 x 720 (720p) and put everything to low settings, and right away I am back to running at 60fps-ish. Once again I am back to winning and complaining about jump showdown /s

Now, what does this mean for you? Well, the MX110 is not a performant GPU AT ALL, at its very best, it's around 30% faster than decently modern INTEGRATED GRAPHICS. Hell, if you have a system with 10th-12th gen Intel, your integrated graphics is faster. For dedicated GPU performance, it about matched the GTX 260 (a card from 2008!). And if your CPU is good enough to match or exceed the "minimum spec" (that being a 2nd gen core i5 apparently), your integrated graphics is basically guaranteed to run at the very minimum. 720p, 30fps, but with the stability and optimisations of being on PC, that you won't find on consoles (Especially Xbox One (S) and Nintendo Switch).

Essentially, Fall guys can and will run on a potato if you try hard enough. Happy gaming!
