What cable is this?

Some information: it's from tritton 720+ headset (surround 7.1), the cable (link above) connects the decoder to the plug on the headset cable.

Yesterday I tried to untwist it following tips on reddit and yt videos and I think it may be broken now, can't hear sound from the xbox. It does make a noise when i plug the cable in, so it's not the headset small cable nor the decoder and it's connection cables.

Is it fixable? Can I buy same type of cable and put it together with the usb and audio controller? There's no original replacement cable where I live.

Need help with wheel settings in FH5 (thrustmaster tmx)

Hi everyone,

I recently got a wheel stand and therefore I am finally able to use my thrustmaster tmx pro wheel on my xbox. I have been playing assetto corsa, dirt rally etc. on pc for 1,5 years with that wheel, so I’m quite familiar with how the ffb and handling need to feel.

However, I cannot wrap my head around the wheel setting/ handling of FH5. The cars are almost undrivable, especially high performance RWD or formula drift cars. I get the feeling that the in-game steering angle develops way faster then the angle of my thrustmaster wheel. Therefore, if I am for instance counter steering in a slide, my personal steering angle would suggest that I will hold the drift. However, the in-game wheels are turned so much, that the car just spins in the other direction completely out of control.

This steering angle issue is also very noticeable in normal driving. If I only move my wheel a few degrees left or right, the car starts to turn substantially in-game. I really need to steer with caution, especially while driving high speeds.

This steering sensitivity is ridiculous. Even on higher end sims, like assetto corsa, where im driving with specific FFB maps for my wheel, the steering input of f1 cars isn’t this extreme in game.

In FH5 im currently running stock FFB setting. My wheel is normally set to 900 degrees of rotation, but can be set to 720, 540 or 360. Do you guys have tips on how to fix the steering feel/ handling?

Concerned about more pitcher domination in H2H for "average" players in early MLB22

So I had been a little worried about this but the Devin Williams reveal has tipped me over the edge.

By average I mean us great unwashed masses - I'm 51 years old, last year was my first year of The Show, on XBox. I didn't play any H2H until basically June (learning game plus server disaster) so I missed the "early game." Ended up as about a 720-740ish RS player with batting averages around .200, lots of 2-1 or 1-0 RS games on All-Star in Shippett almost all my runs on homers off rare mistake pitches. Stringing three singles in a row almost unthinkable.

1. Everybody knows how to use pinpoint now
2. Everybody knowing how to dot with Pinpoint is now combined with early game hitters with low Contact and massive platoon splits (Please, "Contact doesn't matter" people, spare me the nonsense).
3. I don't think nerfing high breaking balls by making them inaccurate is enough to nerf Pinpoint and I don't think losing 1 mph off outlier (And probably putting it on fewer pitchers) will be enough either.
4. Clear we are going to get some dominant LHP early with Big Unit, Dontrelle, etc. to go along with the dominant RHP; if DH isn't in the game it's hard to platoon more than three positions.
5. You don't need that many dominant, easily obtainable pitchers to have them be the ones you see all the time.
6. Shippett has been nerfed and will be combined with lower power numbers in the early game.

We haven't seen any individual pitch control/break numbers so maybe those are all terrible and will save us. But in the Tech Test I didn't really see any evidence that the vast majority of players with any experience at all couldn't still dot at will with Pinpoint.

Rocket league needs a new owner.

Rocket league has never been perfect but the way the game is going i only see a black dark pit of dispair. And the main reason for this goes by the name of epic games. The company that loves to give out free out games and sells your data.

Sinds Epic took over a lot of changes have been made, they made the game free to play. Resulting in a toxic kids paradise and of course the freeloading screaming adults. This results in a woke ban policy culture. You can't typ anything in chat. Calling out a team mate for kitten ( it goes by another name) resulted in direct ban. Team mates are out to get you banned, standing afk and making own goals just to piss you off. Typ what a save 1 time because a team mate makes the most horrible own goal and he will stop playing. This was not the case back when i started. Barely people trew games. Now it's more of a sport. Also note i have not been banned during psyonix once ! Epic im already on a 720 hour ban for the second time. It also picks up chat your typing from the main menu to your friends on ps5. I have the chat turned off and stil got banned for typing. This also worries me that epic somehow can check my messages on my ps5 mebay something sony want's to look into.

The trading scene was brutally murdered by epic. Not only did they remove the crates which where fun and still a thing in fifa and most games. No now we get a battlepass that costs more which each comming season. The items that once where 1 euro are now sold for 20 euro in the daily shop. The shop it's self is so small you can fit a scarab famly in there.

Trading with a new player or mebay someone who you want to introduce to the game has also been blocked by a pay wall. Meanwhile people can still make infinte smurf accounts. A problem with psyonix as well but epic did not improve it over the years.

The servers are the biggest problem at the moment, as far as you guys noticed they removed the info bar on the right displaying how many people where searching and what was the ping latency. They hide this because they know there servers are cheaper and way worse.

Went from over 5 years of playing with 15 ping and 1 or 2 lag spikes a year in the game to now 20 to 40 ping with 20 lag spikes or blocks a week.

How many maps did they bring out ? Not a lot and look what they did to tokyo underground dear god what a joke.

Did they improve one single thing in the game ? yes the tournaments are fun and good working most of the time and heatseaker. Other then that nothing which is quit sad i think.

What is the solution to all this ? I don't know hopefully xbox buys the games (comming from a ps and nintendo fan) and get's this company out of the way and restores it to all it's glory. Or epic get's blown up during a war resulting to put psyonix back in charge. This game will not be saved if epic is not complete out of the picture.

xcloud doesn't use that 15 mb nitrate most of the time. using it from inda?

So i am using xcloud from an unsupported country(india) for few weeks using Japan vpn . While latency is non existent graphic quality is just ok I think it's 720 p 60 fpawith some artifact s and little bit screen tearing while using 3-4 mb /s ( checked through task manager network section) but sometimes it uses 10-15 mb and thats when quality is like really good So is their any settings that I can toggle to force app to use network close to like 15mb bit rate because right now it's not using half of it? Using xbox app

He can plug in the USB and they light up which makes him look very cool. Note that the USB light is not in any way required except for esthetics and are not required for general use. He also said that they are great for listening to music and have great sound.

I would highly recommend these headphones. I have been using the G9900 for 7 months and love them and now they have this new and improved model. Enchanting potions don't work

So I have 78 fortify enchanting potions in my inventory. 72 of those increase it by 10% so theoretically i should be able to make my enchantments 720% better right, nope. I'm trying to make my character very op but whenever I try to get a fortify smithing perk on my armour it only goes up to 30% better (keep in mind my enchantment lvl is 100 so its usually at 25%) even with 72 enchanting potions that all increase enchanting by 10% each, and 1 more thing I have 2 store bought potions that also increase enchanting but its by around 20% each. When I use both of those my enchantment goes up from 25% to 30%. Thanks Bethesda. #fucklogic

For those that have played Octopath Traveler on the Switch, is there any way to fix the grid of squares/lines that float over characters in combat? really looking for some advice.

i played the heck out of this game a little over a year ago on gamepass, xbox one x. the game looks great and ran flawlessly. 60fps, i think it's in 4k as well. either way, was fun.

i got around the urge to want to play again, but like most my jrpgs, i prefer them on a portable system. so i grabbed it for switch. now it looks alright in handheld which is probably what ill have to play it on, but when docked on my 65' 4k tv, it has some kind of alaising issue. it's heavily noticable during combat when characters and enemies are standing still. it looks like a tic tac toe board is shifting back and forth over them. i cant believe it looks like this for everyone on switch and not more people have said something.

ive messed with my settings for my switch and my tv.. to no avail. ive got switch outputting to 720 only, but nothing's helped. anyone know what im talking about and know of any solutions or should i have just bought this on my one x?

Series X Remote Play Quality

I've used remote play since it was introduced on the fat Xbox one. I use ethernet from the console to my router then 5GHz WiFi to whichever device I'm using. It has always been this way and from Xbox One to One X then Series X it's been mostly a good experience. However, I tried to fire up Elden Ring on it the other day and it was literally unplayable. It was not recognising button presses and even having the stick held forward the Tarnished would take a step, stop, another step, stop and so on and so on. Not ideal for Elden Ring. In addition the resolution is super low. Not sure what it is but it's sub 720 for sure.

My go to device is a Lenovo Yoga Android tablet which is not brand new but only a year or two old, I think it's android 10. Because this sucked I tried with my Pixel 6 which actually is brand new with Android 12 and the experience was the same. Then I tried my laptop and you guessed it, same thing. Now I usually play with the controller connected to the Xbox and the other device just as a display. This is how I've always done it and it's worked but for the sake of testing I decided to try the controller connected to the tablet and the responsiveness was much better but it was still a low res, artifacty mess.

I have recently played some of Horizon FW using PS5 remote play on the same devices and it was flawless, and Xbox remote play has worked great in the past so I'm sure it isn't my connection. Does anyone have any thoughts because this is driving me crazy.

FPS and refresh rate

Hello. I'm currently trying to optimize my settings for maximum FPS. For starters, my PC specs are NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 and Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz. Dxdiag tells me that my current display mode is 1920 x 1080 (32bit) (60Hz). Is this the reason why when I on Vsync, my FPS is constant at 60? Even though I'm using a 144Hz monitor (the resolution I'm using in Valorant is 1360 x 768 16:9 144Hz)?

Does my 4gb ram also have something to do as to why my FPS is just 60-100 (Vsync off) when I'm recording using Xbox game bar?

It did not work on any of them. I tried all the resolutions, with different HDMI and component cables I know are good because I am using them on other devices. I tried everything on two different Sony TV' sets. Changing the resolution produced no changes. I tried holding the resolution button down longer, etc., to no avail. The screen would either stay blank or display vertical wide bands of different colors. The best I was able to get was a screen split in half, with a fuzzy picture showing a duplicate image on the left and right halves of the screen. I even tried switching the order of the green-blue-red component cables, just in case they were mislabeled on this converter at the factory. After a couple of hours of trying different cables and devices and different ways, I gave up and decided return it because I couldn't think of anything else left to try. I am very good at this kind of thing, so I don't see what I could have done wrong. Perhaps I got a unit that is bad, I don't know, but it did not work for me. Helpful
