It did not work on any of them. I tried all the resolutions, with different HDMI and component cables I know are good because I am using them on other devices. I tried everything on two different Sony TV' sets. Changing the resolution produced no changes. I tried holding the resolution button down longer, etc., to no avail. The screen would either stay blank or display vertical wide bands of different colors. The best I was able to get was a screen split in half, with a fuzzy picture showing a duplicate image on the left and right halves of the screen. I even tried switching the order of the green-blue-red component cables, just in case they were mislabeled on this converter at the factory. After a couple of hours of trying different cables and devices and different ways, I gave up and decided return it because I couldn't think of anything else left to try. I am very good at this kind of thing, so I don't see what I could have done wrong. Perhaps I got a unit that is bad, I don't know, but it did not work for me. Helpful

Feel: • When you put this headset on the first thing, you’ll notice is the feel of the memory foam earcups and headband around your head. The headset doesn’t apply pressure upon wearing it and it’s a nice fit. • Since the earcups are bigger and the headset being adjustable to fit your head in every way…it makes wearing the headset feel good and comfortable every time you put it on upon hours and hours of usage.

Design: • The design of the G9700 looks good and feels good. It has a white matte finish to outline the headset and has a black glossy finish for the exterior of the earcups. The design kind of reminds me of how the PS5 looks lol. • The LED’s of this headset is white and they complement the overall design and BENGOO’s logo of the headset really well. Also, the mic has a white LED as well. • The mic controls are located along the cable with a unique design so it doesn’t feel bulky or interfere with your gamer moments or general use. The controller has a volume slider, LED on/off switch, and a mute mic switch. • The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use. From the over the ear – earcups, the way the LED’s are presented/used, the location of the controller, and the mic itself allows it to stand apart from others giving it that feeling of being satisfied with your purchase. I was looking for noise cancelling headphones that could be used for multiple purposes. Since Covid, both me and my wife have been working remotely from home and I wanted head phones that I could use to both listen to music without hearing her working and also for using for meetings. The headset my work provided was painful to use for long meetings and very uncomfortable. These are sweet!

When listening to music the ambient noise of my house is drowned out and the sound is very good. The base really carries through. Often my meetings are extended and these are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They have a volume controller right on the cord to make it easy to turn them louder or softer.

Note that there are two plug-ins. One is for the headset sound and mic and the other is a USB port to make them light up which looks really cool but obviously isn’t important when working and lighting them up is not required but is only an option.

My kid also uses them while playing his PS4 while gaming with his friends and he likes them as well. If you are looking for an affordable set of headphones that are good for listening to music, playing games and wearing for meetings; these are the headphones for you.

But zero volume amplification, and they are just plain stereo. No surround or simulated surround. For the volume, you have to put your computer volume at 100% and have the in-line (on the cable) volume control all the way up. Only major thing they need to improve on is the placement of the in-line controls. At 18 inches it snags on everything, and is hard to find without looking. It's way too low. You stand up from your desk and the headset gets yanked off your head! And when you are too busy looking at the screen, you have to fumble down the cable until you find it. They need to put it at no more than 6-8 inches down the cable from the earpad. That way it's just below your neckline, and is easier to find and doesn't snag. Also, the lights are absolutely useless. They're not bright enough to put some light on your keyboard or controls when you turn the lights out. Not sure what they are for other than to look cool. But who's going to be looking at your headset? If you are by yourself, they are pointless. If you are in a gamer cafe, everyone else is looking at their own screens. So yeah, useless. Only thing that is awesome about them is that they are incredibly comfortable. The earpads are big enough to not cause any fatigue, especially if you have medium to large sized ears. Seems to work fine. Comes with a fairly cheapy HDMI cable, but I didn't need any fancy HDMI cables and it seemed to work fine. I did find when I was initially setting it up... that these are powered (which I expected), and require a USB plug-in to charge, but don't come with a brick for it. My surge protector has two USB charging ports, but apparently they share 2.4 amps between them, not 2.4 amps for each one... so I got some screwy results that took a while to troubleshoot until I figured this out. I plugged in the USB's with bricks, and they worked just fine after that. The kitchen TV was connected to the AV out on cable box and was sent to the kitchen with an AV to coax adapter and coax from a previous cable hookup. Cable was getting to expensive so we got rid of it and started streaming with a Fire Stick. Problem is the Fire Stick only has one HDMI output. Used this to split the HDMI to go to both TVs. Used an HDMI to AV adapter and the existing AV to coax adapter to complete the setup. Sounds complicated but it seems to be the only way to get it done. The coax to the kitchen was already in place so that is what I wanted to use and running an HDMI cable would have been more money. Bottom line is that my problem is gone, and the new device has thus far worked flawlessly for my setup (One STB to two TVs).

This next part is my original review, before replacement: I turn two TVs on, about five days a week. They are both connected to the same STB via this splitter. Every couple days, and sometimes a couple days in a row, I have to unplug, then reconnect, USB power to this splitter because the picture turns on and off on both TVs until I do. The TVs flick between either No Signal, or fuzz, and cannot lock onto the picture until I disconnect, then reconnect, USB power to this splitter. New TV only has HDMI. This little gadget allowed us to quickly and easily connect the old VHS player to the TV! I have the picture quality a "5" but remember that the quality is driven by the quality of the VHS tape and its resolution. This gadget does not make the resolution any better than what the VHS puts out - which is no better than a 480 resolution (versus 720/1080/4K). But to get the best performance out of products like these you need to go directly into a 110 plug more precisely a cell phone charger that's capable of Rapid charging. The USB ports on the back of your TV do not provide enough voltage for these products to function to their maximum capacity. I'll be returning this and trying a different set up for my Nintendo 64. For those of you trying to get a better picture on your Nintendo 64, trust me when I say spend a little bit extra and get a retro tink 2x Mini. Mass effect 1 xbox 360 to crt in 4:3 aspect ratio ar

I thought I'd make this post because I could not find any information on the net on this. As such I delayed trying it for weeks due to the fact my lcd is not next to my crt and requires me to move one of my many xbox 360's to try it.

So it does work and not too badly. When the x360 is hooked to the lcd it of course detects many resolution modes supported thru hdmi. So if you have a HD crt with hdmi you are set, but if you like me have a SD 4:3 crt, this is how it goes.

When you hook it up with the s-video or component out you will only have two options it will be on widescreen if just unplugged from lcd. The other option is "normal" or 4:3 or something. So when you have it on widescreen it will stretch vertically your whole game and also the xbox menus. So when you change it to normal the game will display black bars on top and bottom.

So the thing is these black bars are not that huge, so not too bad. Its like when you run it in true 720p 1280 x 720, not 1366 x 768. About a inch and a half is cut off from each side, compared to how I first played it, in 1366 x 768.

So now you could play the game with the black bars (it's playable, not ideal but okay), or you could do like I am going to do adjust the V-size in the service menu until it almost fills screen. Third option is you can set it for widescreen and it will stretch it for you, although IMO it stretches it a bit too much, but you could also tweak this with the v-size.

So surprisingly I am somewhat pleased with the renedering of this game on crt. It is reported that all ME games work like this as they all use unreal engine 3. I am somewhat pleased as I was under the impression these games were totally unplayable in 4:3 on most crt.

These are very good games hope this helps somebody to play them on crt.

Warzone and Xbox bugs

Here's a brief timeline of the bugs some Xbox players have had recently.(note: I'm not good at writing in English; it is not my native language)

1. I had the first error in the December update, shortly after the Vanguard integration. This was that when selecting a game mode (any) it crashed and sent me to the Xbox main menu. It even made a weird noise when the app closed, like a crash sound.

2. I solved this error by personalizing everything possible as if it were a new account. Milsim operator, base card, base emblem, gestures, without watch, new loadouts without accessories and I renamed them from 1 to 10. Above all I removed the skins, horns and music from the vehicles. It seems that this last step was what worked. I didn't even have to restart, I just managed to select a mode and it loaded matchmaking.

3. During January I had no problem, but with the update the bug came back. As before, I try to enter a game mode (any) and my screen freezes, there is a crash sound and the application closes, sending me to the Xbox main menu.

4. I tried everything I described above, but I had already removed the skins, horns and music from the vehicles. In fact I never moved those options again. So the above solution didn't work for me.

5. I reset the Xbox, deleted the game data, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, changed the mac address and nothing. I even deleted my vanguard game and my xbox account, so re-entered it on my Xbox. I have seen that one of the possible solutions has to do with HDR, but my console is an old generation Xbox One, so i do not have that option. But I decided to change the option of the Xbox from 1080 to 720 (yes, it can still look worse), and curiously it let me play a game, but no more. After that game the bug is still constant.

6. I created a new Xbox and Activision account, entered the data on my Xbox, started the game with a level 1 account and everything worked like nothing. Even much smoother than before. So some problem with the console is ruled out. Also, I asked a friend who uses PS5 to log in with my account and try to play. He managed to play like nothing happened. Several games without any errors with my main Activision account. Lastly, I asked another trusted friend to log into his Xbox with my Xbox account and my main Activision account and there was no success. It gave the same error to me on my console.

Conclusion: when the update arrived something happened with my account and the Xbox online service. Obviously I'm not banned. This account error, as if they were corrupted, has happened to several users. I've seen it here, in other forums, on Facebook and on twitter. I saw that Raven Software tweeted that this issue is being patched on their Trello, but it still gives me no comfort. I understand that we are millions of players, some with a better team than others and with more possibilities of acquisition, but I am also a client, because I have invested money in season passes and bundles, however, there has been no support from anyone . I haven't even gotten a shred of attention from any Raven or Activision staff.

I hope that not many users are going through this and I also hope that some of what I have mentioned will help you to fix your errors. We know that the integration of vanguard has caused chaos in the game and that the bugs may continue until Warzone 2 is released as a new game. I wish Raven Software cared more about a quick fix for these bugs than an XP bug.

How to convert your existing desktop PC into a headless home cloud gaming server for Deck streaming

For various reasons (saving space being the big one) I plan to pack my monitor, keyboard and mouse away and go back to using my PC as a headless streaming server again when my Deck arrives. The idea is your desktop can go basically anywhere, provided you have a power socket nearby, and you'll be able to connect from anywhere inside your home. I used to do this in my old flat which was too small to have a desk and it worked well enough that I genuinely think I'll be OK without my current setup given that the Deck has the extra inputs needed to make more games playable vs. what you can do with an Xbox controller. In case you're interested in doing the same, here's what I'll be using and why:

1. HDMI or DisplayPort EDID spoofer - you need this to tell your graphics card to not switch off when you don't have a monitor connected, otherwise when you connect you'll just see a black screen. Maybe things have changed recently but this was a requirement when I last did this. I have a fit-Headless GS which tops out at 4K at 60Hz, there might be models now that go up to 8K at 60Hz but the Deck obviously only needs 720/800p at 60Hz. You just plug it in, Windows sees it as a screen, you set your desired max resolution to stream at the same as you'd set the resolution on any other connected screen (obviously after logging in remotely) and that's it.
2. USB server - for connecting basically any USB device to your PC from a distance. I use a Raspberry Pi 3 running VirtualHere but it's available on tons of devices, I've never had latency issues with it even over the powerline network (although I've only used it with an Xbox controller/wireless dongle, keyboard and mouse) and it was extremely useful when I needed it. I can think of some use cases where you might want to dock your Deck to a TV and use it to play streamed games (over ethernet) with a racing wheel or whatever, if they won't work natively with the Deck.
3. Powerline network adaptors - I use TP-Link stuff and have done for years without issue, most recently I got a TL-WPA7617 kit to provide 5GHz WiFi coverage in my bedroom. Pro tip: if you set the SSID and password on two different WiFi access points to be the same, your devices will automatically connect to the one with the stronger signal - in most cases (hardware support varies). I'd still keep 2.4 and 5GHz networks separate, though, and hide the 5GHz network from people you live with who don't care about the difference! In theory (I have no idea if it's true or not), these adaptors should have less latency than a WiFi mesh network repeater which is WiFi in, WiFi out. These adaptors are Ethernet in, WiFi out.
4. Compact 45W chargers - Minor detail, but don't underestimate the convenience of having more than one charger! I have one in every room (I mean, I live in a flat with only two rooms so that's not exactly hard). I've never had a bad experience with any Anker product, charger or otherwise.
5. A decent "media keyboard" - I have both a Logitech K400 Plus and a K830. Obviously useful for the times you need to do some "PC stuff", which you will eventually need to do because your PC is (most likely) still going to be Windows. NOT for gaming with because the trackpads kinda suck and the keyboards aren't much better. This might sound odd but if you have nothing but a Deck to connect with and need to press some keys on the remote PC that don't exist on the Deck's on screen keyboard, you will need a physical keyboard with a Windows-friendly layout. Connect the dongle to the PC through the USB server.
6. Lapboard and mouse - If you think you'll want to play with a keyboard and mouse with the Deck docked to your TV, a good lapboard is a must, there's no way around it. They don't make them anymore but I have a Roccat Sova and it's 95% as good as being at a desk. It and similar alternatives are absolutely massive, though, so I will still have a media keyboard which is easier to keep handy. This applies even if you aren't streaming too, of course, you could plug it into a dock.
7. Remote desktop on multiple devices - Even if you do set your Deck up to get access to your server's desktop it's good to have multiple routes in case something breaks, I personally use Chrome Remote Desktop but have also used Splashtop and Parsec in the past.
8. Wake on LAN - If you don't want to leave the server running 24/7, you can use Wake on LAN to turn it on remotely. I have an app on my phone and a script on a Raspberry Pi to do this.
9. SSH - if you want to get deep, you can use SSH to script all sorts of things. I personally only got as far as using it to make a remote off button (and used Wake on LAN to make a remote on button) using a Raspberry Pi, some Python code and a couple of buttons. You can also use SSH to know if the PC is on or not - if you can't connect via SSH, it's probably off (I can't remember if a PC primed for WoL will respond to pings when it's off...?), which could be used to make a remote status indicator.

I think that covers it, I'd be interested to know if you've done anything differently or had bad experiences with this stuff because I personally haven't, although I did need to learn a fair bit quite quickly to make it work how I wanted it to. Also I know just enough about security to know that I don't know enough about security to want to extend any of this stuff outside of my home network, in theory that could be done, just don't ask me how.

XR90J - Games and text on screen blurry, hard to watch.

I have upgraded from my 2014 Sony KDL48W585 LED HD 1080p TV to the 50" Sony Bravia XR0J. I was looking forward to a nice upgrade however now I have the TV installed... things are not to great :(

The main problem is things are blurry. Especially when playing games and moving around, the display has tons of motion blur. On my 2014 TV there was no such motion blur. Another issue is even when not moving things are lacking detail and not sharp. For instance text on screen is blurry and has a sort of bloom effect. Things in the distance in games are blurry. I am finding it hard to play games because it gives me a slight headache.

I tried changing to Game mode but it is the same there. Also when watching normal tv such as news channels the text is blurry albeit to lesser extent. Text on news channels 480/720/1080p looked a lot better on 2014 Sony Bravia TV.

The text seems perfectly fine in Google TV menus and in Netflix however. Netflix content looks great. Some sources seem worse than others, and I am wondering why there is inconsistency.

I am playing games on an Xbox One and Nintendo Switch so believe they are outputting 1080p.

The TV has tons of options in the menu for picture settings and I am changing various options but I am not really clear on what the best settings should be, in particular for addressing motion blur. I a pretty happy with things like colour and brightness. Thats all fine, it is just dealing with motion blur I am struggling with and blurring/bloom on text from some sources (but not all sources!)

Wondered if anyone had similar issues with this TV?

Warzone and Xbox bugs

Here's a brief timeline of the bugs some Xbox players have had recently.(note: I'm not good at writing in English; it is not my native language)

1. I had the first error in the December update, shortly after the Vanguard integration. This was that when selecting a game mode (any) it crashed and sent me to the Xbox main menu. It even made a weird noise when the app closed, like a crash sound.

2. I solved this error by personalizing everything possible as if it were a new account. Milsim operator, base card, base emblem, gestures, without watch, new loadouts without accessories and I renamed them from 1 to 10. Above all I removed the skins, horns and music from the vehicles. It seems that this last step was what worked. I didn't even have to restart, I just managed to select a mode and it loaded matchmaking.

3. During January I had no problem, but with the update the bug came back. As before, I try to enter a game mode (any) and my screen freezes, there is a crash sound and the application closes, sending me to the Xbox main menu.

4. I tried everything I described above, but I had already removed the skins, horns and music from the vehicles. In fact I never moved those options again. So the above solution didn't work for me.

5. I reset the Xbox, deleted the game data, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, changed the mac address and nothing. I even deleted my vanguard game and my xbox account, so re-entered it on my Xbox. I have seen that one of the possible solutions has to do with HDR, but my console is an old generation Xbox One, so i do not have that option. But I decided to change the option of the Xbox from 1080 to 720 (yes, it can still look worse), and curiously it let me play a game, but no more. After that game the bug is still constant.

6. I created a new Xbox and Activision account, entered the data on my Xbox, started the game with a level 1 account and everything worked like nothing. Even much smoother than before. So some problem with the console is ruled out. Also, I asked a friend who uses PS5 to log in with my account and try to play. He managed to play like nothing happened. Several games without any errors with my main Activision account. Lastly, I asked another trusted friend to log into his Xbox with my Xbox account and my main Activision account and there was no success. It gave the same error to me on my console.

Conclusion: when the update arrived something happened with my account and the Xbox online service. Obviously I'm not banned. This account error, as if they were corrupted, has happened to several users. I've seen it here, in other forums, on Facebook and on twitter. I saw that Raven Software tweeted that this issue is being patched on their Trello, but it still gives me no comfort. I understand that we are millions of players, some with a better team than others and with more possibilities of acquisition, but I am also a client, because I have invested money in season passes and bundles, however, there has been no support from anyone . I haven't even gotten a shred of attention from any Raven or Activision staff.

I hope that not many users are going through this and I also hope that some of what I have mentioned will help you to fix your errors. We know that the integration of vanguard has caused chaos in the game and that the bugs may continue until Warzone 2 is released as a new game. I wish Raven Software cared more about a quick fix for these bugs than an XP bug.

Midnight Club 1-3 in one game?

Not adding any new locations (okay, maybe two to make it 10 cities), redesigning or maybe just a graphic overhaul of the first 8 cities without any changes would be very interesting.

Racing through New York City, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo (same map was used in Midnight Club 3 Remix and L.A. Remix), Atlanta Detroit and San Diego in one game could be very entertaining! Given the sizes of these maps from the time the games were released (2000-2005), this feat wouldn’t be impossible with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series S, Xbox 720. Even the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 could have accomplished this, but those are long gone. My two additional cities would be Miami and Moscow.

But as they say, time is money, so who knows if they would do this.

But zero volume amplification, and they are just plain stereo. No surround or simulated surround. For the volume, you have to put your computer volume at 100% and have the in-line (on the cable) volume control all the way up. You stand up from your desk and the headset gets yanked off your head! And when you are too busy looking at the screen, you have to fumble down the cable until you find it. They need to put it at no more than 6-8 inches down the cable from the earpad. That way it's just below your neckline, and is easier to find and doesn't snag. Also, the lights are absolutely useless. They're not bright enough to put some light on your keyboard or controls when you turn the lights out. Not sure what they are for other than to look cool. But who's going to be looking at your headset? If you are by yourself, they are pointless. If you are in a gamer cafe, everyone else is looking at their own screens. So yeah, useless. Only thing that is awesome about them is that they are incredibly comfortable. The earpads are big enough to not cause any fatigue, especially if you have medium to large sized ears. Better cities mod Imperial City Map Screen glitch

I've decided to play through Oblivion again after talking about the game in a few unrelated places, this time with mods (only ever played through it on a friend's Xbox 360 in high school.) Some of them have dramatically improved the experience but there's one mod that seems to be giving me trouble — the Better Cities mod, in particular the one relating to Imperial City.

From what I can tell, the Imperial City mod is supposed to replace the world map with a close-up map of the Imperial City while you're within it — but for some reason the map won't load properly and it ends up looking like a broken mess:

I've tried fiddling with the load order a bit and it doesn't seem to change much. Changing the screen resolution seems to do something - scaling down to 1280 x 720 resolution makes the map slightly better, but still not quite working:

Question about cross progression

So I’ve been asking a lot of people and tweeting a lot, and my most recent info is that a next gen update (for what I’m assuming is a new version of Apex that is better suited for next gen) is coming out, allegedly, this month, and people are speculating this is when cross progression comes out. This would align with Garnier saying they plan to release it this month, and would make sense as this update sounds like a separate title that would require cross progression. Does anyone know how legit this is, what this update actually is, or any other info on it? If you reply, please cite where you got your info, as I’m quite frankly annoyed with the amount of vague word of mouth responses that have falsely gotten my hopes up over the years.

I’m day 1 and ive been playing on a Xbox one S. The game slowly and slowly got worse on last gen, and I can’t even hit a full 60 in the new arena maps now. The 3D resolution looks a little lower than 720, and my controller is at the end of its life span. I’m conflicted on upgrading to a Series S because I don’t want them to release it and me be able to play on PC right after I buy one. This whole situation is sucking the fun out of the game for me. This game is the only reason I’m still on console and it sucks because I love, and always will love, playing it. It’s just super hard when my game freezes during fire fights and the resolution isn’t high enough to see people past 60-80 meters or so (no, not an exaggeration, I’ve tested it)

Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2021 Color: 4K HDMI Splitter not support extendVerified Purchase We have a TV in the kitchen which was connected to the Cable box along with The TV in our living room so we could watch TV while preparing meals or doing other chores there. The kitchen TV was connected to the AV out on cable box and was sent to the kitchen with an AV to coax adapter and coax from a previous cable hookup. Cable was getting to expensive so we got rid of it and started streaming with a Fire Stick. Problem is the Fire Stick only has one HDMI output. Used this to split the HDMI to go to both TVs. Used an HDMI to AV adapter and the existing AV to coax adapter to complete the setup. Sounds complicated but it seems to be the only way to get it done. The coax to the kitchen was already in place so that is what I wanted to use and running an HDMI cable would have been more money. The sound is crisp and gives the 360 feel you need with games these days. I can hear footsteps and whispers perfectly. Nice high and lows.

My favorite part is the mic. I have to be a bit quiet typically to avoid waking the wife and this “bendy” mic can get right up next to my mouth. All my gaming buddies say it makes a huge difference and they can finally hear me once I upgraded to these.

My only tiny thing is the plug is one that juts straight out. Easily fixed with my pictured right angle adapter. I sometimes hold the controller close so I need that feature or I’ll poke myself. Really though I will still rate this perfectly because no headset in this range offers the angled adapter.

Hello User, you ever had a headset that hurts after a long period of use or ear cups annoying your ears especially in those heated moments of gaming…Then look no further because the G9700 is the headset for you.

Feel: • When you put this headset on the first thing, you’ll notice is the feel of the memory foam earcups and headband around your head. The headset doesn’t apply pressure upon wearing it and it’s a nice fit. • Since the earcups are bigger and the headset being adjustable to fit your head in every way…it makes wearing the headset feel good and comfortable every time you put it on upon hours and hours of usage.

Design: • The design of the G9700 looks good and feels good. It has a white matte finish to outline the headset and has a black glossy finish for the exterior of the earcups. The design kind of reminds me of how the PS5 looks lol. • The LED’s of this headset is white and they complement the overall design and BENGOO’s logo of the headset really well. Also, the mic has a white LED as well. • The mic controls are located along the cable with a unique design so it doesn’t feel bulky or interfere with your gamer moments or general use. The controller has a volume slider, LED on/off switch, and a mute mic switch. • The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use. Conclusion: In conclusion the G9700 headset is a change of pace from prior headsets BENGOO have created. The design of the headset make it have a different personality sort of speak from others. From the over the ear – earcups, the way the LED’s are presented/used, the location of the controller, and the mic itself allows it to stand apart from others giving it that feeling of being satisfied with your purchase. I was looking for noise cancelling headphones that could be used for multiple purposes. Since Covid, both me and my wife have been working remotely from home and I wanted head phones that I could use to both listen to music without hearing her working and also for using for meetings. The headset my work provided was painful to use for long meetings and very uncomfortable. These are sweet!

When listening to music the ambient noise of my house is drowned out and the sound is very good. The base really carries through. Often my meetings are extended and these are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They have a volume controller right on the cord to make it easy to turn them louder or softer.

Note that there are two plug-ins. One is for the headset sound and mic and the other is a USB port to make them light up which looks really cool but obviously isn’t important when working and lighting them up is not required but is only an option.

My kid also uses them while playing his PS4 while gaming with his friends and he likes them as well. If you are looking for an affordable set of headphones that are good for listening to music, playing games and wearing for meetings; these are the headphones for you.

But zero volume amplification, and they are just plain stereo. No surround or simulated surround. For the volume, you have to put your computer volume at 100% and have the in-line (on the cable) volume control all the way up. Only major thing they need to improve on is the placement of the in-line controls. At 18 inches it snags on everything, and is hard to find without looking. It's way too low. You stand up from your desk and the headset gets yanked off your head! And when you are too busy looking at the screen, you have to fumble down the cable until you find it. They need to put it at no more than 6-8 inches down the cable from the earpad. That way it's just below your neckline, and is easier to find and doesn't snag. Also, the lights are absolutely useless. They're not bright enough to put some light on your keyboard or controls when you turn the lights out. Not sure what they are for other than to look cool. But who's going to be looking at your headset? If you are by yourself, they are pointless. If you are in a gamer cafe, everyone else is looking at their own screens. So yeah, useless. Only thing that is awesome about them is that they are incredibly comfortable. The earpads are big enough to not cause any fatigue, especially if you have medium to large sized ears.
