I have my HDMI cable going from my Xbox Series X going to an HDMI splitter, and from there one HDMI cable leads to my LG C9 (4k with HDMI 2.1) and the other goes to a capture card that's hooked up to my PC so I can stream for a friend who enjoys watching me play.
I ended up getting the splitter as the capture card would only output at 1080p, so this is a workaround so that I can still play in 4k.
However, a lot of options are missing, such as HDR10, Dolby Vision and and other advanced options in that category for the Xbox. For resolution, I can only select 720, 1080 or 4k. 1440p at 120 fps isn't even an option.
Everything works fine when I have it hooked up straight from my Xbox to my TV, and I'm not expecting 4k 120 fps as the splitter isn't 2.1. I'm just hoping to find a way to at least get HDR or Dolby Vision while it's hooked up this way.
Would upgrading all the cables to ultra high speed 48Gbps help this issue at all? I'm a bit out of my element here, so and help is appreciated. Thank you.
