x264 vs NVENC for Twitch Streaming using Consoles and Elgato

Hi,

I'm currently trying to improve my stream and get it to the best I can make it so i'm looking for some advice.

My setup is an Xbox Series X / PS5 to a gaming Laptop via Elgato HD60. The Laptop has a 10th Gen I7-10750H and an RTX 2070 and my internet upload is 36mbps.

I'm aware I should stream at 720 60fps because of the way Twitch works but I'm trying to make sure I have the correct encoder and bitrate set. I've tried the NVENC at 4500 bitrate but when watching my stream back I notice some quality drops quiet frequently so I was wondering if I'm using the best options to reduce these issues?
