REALLY Low End PC - A Toaster that can run SoT: How I fixed MY FPS issues.

Straight off the bat, this is not a solution for everyone.

Do not comment that it didn't work or I'm full of xxx, this is not a guide that I am preaching on, I am simply advising what I've done that has actually made SoT being able to run on my desktop that is literally a trash can (I can't afford anything so my lovely friends donating their old parts which I humbly thank them for).

To give an idea on my PC:

CPU: INTEL i5-3570k

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

RAM: 16GB

After many YouTube videos and random dirty websites, I was told so many different things.

Do this, do that, don't do this. Trial and error has given me a nice stable 60FPS on lowest settings.

I will list my steps and what I did.

1. Uninstalled SoT and Installed on my SSD (that I only use for windows), so now I only have like 4gb left on the SSD but SoT is more important.
2. I have a Razer keyboard so I have Razer programs (This is what helped) = Razer Cortex
   ALOT of comments on reddit and other forums state they hate Razer Cortex.
   It actually IMPROVED my pc, but it DEGRADED my wifes PC (she has a better pc)
   So trial and error here.
3. I followed HALF a guide on youtube [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvlWfS8Ynps&t=238s]
   3:35 onwards, steps below:

• Goto Local Drive(C:) or what ever you have.
• Users
• YourPCName
• AppData (you may need to go VIEW -> Hidden Items
• Local
• Packages
• Microsoft.SeaofThieves_8wekyb3d8bbwe
• Local State
• Athena
• Saved
• Config
• UWP64
• GameUserSettings
  Copy and Paste details BELOW, if you can't then just copy my settings, Save.
• Right Click [GameUserSettings]
• Properties
• General
• TICK 'READ-ONLY', if you don't, the game will change the settings on its own. You're theoretically changing the settings and locking the game from changing it again.
• Install Razer Cortex.
• Use the settings I have, the most important thing I found is "Launch Game on Desktop"
• Auto-Boost on.
• FPS tab, show fps in game overlay - If you want to.
• Turn off Monitor FPS and generate chart
• Start game from "My Library"

I honestly hope this works for atleast one other person.

I love this game, and I play as much as I can with my wife to spend time together, but it's been hard running 10FPS. And trying to play on XBOX means it takes forever to load back after death/mermaid.

• In game all my settings are as below as it may be more obvious; all Cursed, 1080p, VSYNC Off, FPS Limit Off, Resolution Scale 85.
