I have an original 2013 Xbox that I’m trying to use with an old dell monitor my dad gave me. The monitor should support 720/1080 but the Xbox will only display in 640x480.

I have an OG 2013 Xbox One, dad gave me one of his old monitors, when I used my computer with it it would output 720/1080 but when I hooked up my Xbox to it I can only do 640x480. It’s from hdmi to dvi.

I’m not sure what to try or how this works, so I need a new cable as it’s old? Will hdmi to VGA be better?
