So after years of viewing content on the internet, and especially youtube, I've finally decided I want to give back something and start my own channel. I think Twitch streaming will be a great start for me. I'm interested in gaming atm, but I've never tried anything like this before so I have a lot of questions and could really use some guidance from anybody who knows what they're talking about. Basically I have a computer with 8GB of RAM, 4 processors, and an INTEGRATED graphics card. My upload bandwidth is about 5 mb/s. I have a webcam capable of 720 and/or 1080p at 60 (maybe?) fps. I also have a cheap headset with a mic, no dedicated mic yet. I know its basically the bare minimum kind of setup you need to stream, and as I have been testing things out and setting up OBS, I've noticed that streaming games its significantly laggy and freezes frequently. There is also a major delay between real time and broadcasting. I have tried turning off low latency. I think my equipment is simply not up to par, but if it is a settings issue that I can resolve without having to buy a whole other computer or components I would much prefer that so I can begin my new passion ASAP. I also have an XBOX ONE which I know I can technically broadcast from, and I assume would run it much better (I also would like to play games on the xbox as I have many more of them than PC games), but I dont know how to connect my computer and my recording devices to the Xbox. I have tried googling this but most responses tell me about kinect which I dont have though I saw one that said I could connect any kind of webcam to the xbox, so I really dont know. I figured I would ask here before wasting hours of my life frustrating myself when someone knows the easiest way to do it. I have also tried using mixer to capture xbox games, then finding the page on my computer and broadcasting my monitor but the lag and freezing is still present as far as I can tell. If you have any advice about how to use or connect my xbox, or if I can adjust settings to start streaming with my computer, or what kind of equipment I can get that might fix the issue without breaking my measly bank account, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
