I have an Xbox One S and a Vizio P65-F1. I've never had issues with UHD or HDR content until today.
I was experimenting running the HDMI through my Vizio Soundbar to help with some audio latency issues I was having. It didn't fix it so I switched back to plugging it directly into the tv (same input as before and using the cable that came with the Xbox). However, now it's forcing it to 640x480 and I can't figure out why. I can go to video fidelity and overscan and force HDMI, which then gives me options for 720, 1080, and 1440, but not 4K. Even still, the 1440 option doesn't actually work.
I can even enable 1080 at 120hz, but nothing will allow me to get back to 4K.
I've factory reset both devices thinking things might autodetect properly but still no dice.
To recap, all I did originally was take the HDMI out of the TV and tried to use the soundbar passthrough feature. It didn't do what I wanted so I went back and now I'm stuck here.
I even have photos of the 4K details screen before and after. https://photos.app.goo.gl/DgJcthAL2T91WsWc6
Here's the first boot of the tv and Xbox after another factory reset too. https://photos.app.goo.gl/DpnEAuuWUjoxx8Zu7
