Is Crash Nitro Kart as bad as people saying? Looking back at it today, how would you rate it?

And just as a reminder if you ever fancy a replay of Nitro Kart, I recommend the xbox version over the PS2 version for the following reasons (which are hardware related due to the Xbox being more powerful than the PS2, much as I being a huge Playstation fan do hate having to say) and I own both versions and have played and compared both a few times

A- Slightly higher framerate B- Faster load times C- Fully backwards compatible on 360, and is full 720 HD compatible too
