Full semi-budget build with upgrade capacity for later. Hoping to recycle some parts.

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

  • Gaming- Overwatch, WOW, a few random AAA. Graphic editing, word processing, web design

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

*600-800-1000 (the less the better. 600-800 assumes that I can use my 4670k again). Basically as little as possible without sacrificing anything important.

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

  • Start ordering parts today

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

  • Tower, GPU, Cooling, processor, Mobo, ram. (Have Razer mouse, keyboard, 2x 1080p monitors 60hz currently)

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

*SC, on Georgia line. 4 hours would have to be a steal. But I can send my family to get me parts if necessary and mail them from DC or LA.

If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

  • Razer Naga Trinity/ Mamba ), RazerOrnata Chroma, HP 22” 1980x1060 monitor 60hz, Samsung 23” same specs. I have a 4670K I could reuse but not sure if it’s completely outdated. My ram is obsolete (ddr3), 240 SSD Kingston, 500 Gb HDD old as hell. I could get by with these two though and upgrade later. Or maybe upgrade from the HDd.)

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

  • I never ended up on my 4670k. As I am budgeted i would like the ability to and definitely would over click if you guys tell me I can reuse it.

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

  • not really. Thunderbolt would be nice. I wouldn’t mind downsizing to a smaller tower (used ATX before and I am much more mobile than I used to be. Having something a little smaller would be nice as long as it not sacrificing anything.).
  • FreeSync? My Xbox one X has support for it (where I do 4K gaming). So I could be interested in FreeSync capability for when I upgrade monitor later. (Is this ATI GPU or processor based?). Gsync seems to expensive.
  • I’ve always been a fan of Nvidia GPUs.
  • for interior RBG lighting in computer, can I sync this with razed synapse? I wouldn’t mind RAM with it.
  • it’s extremely hard for me to get a wired connection. I have a mumo router. I use wireless internet normally. So...

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

  • Mid-tower, LED lighting, windowed, no color preference now. I like blue and red tho. And it would be nice to be able to plug my headset in to the front or too as I use it for Xbox and PC. USB (maybe even thunderbolt from top if not too expensive).

**Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

  • I don’t think so? If i reuse my SSD that’s where my current install is so it should work?

Extra info or particulars: I have a Lenovo Yoga 720 4K monitor w 1050 card 7700 and 16gb ram. It has overheating issues and stutters audio and voice when playing overwatch and WoW sometimes. I bought it to serve all these purposes. (1200) but it’s not cutting it. Currently i use that with 2 monitors hooked up (all 3 including laptop are 1080p.)

is like to eventually goto 1440p 144hz. I also want to be able to upgrade later. Switch from 16 GB to 32. If I keep 4760k then swap that processor out and eventually my storage (SSD).
