Looking for 4K TV for Xbox One S

I'm looking to upgrade from a 36 inch Samsung 720p TV that I've used for the past 6 years or so.

Firstly, I'm under the impression it makes the most sense to buy a 4K TV rather than an older 1080P model. I did some research and I've been drawn to the 55 inch TCL S Model (Not the P series) which I see on sale from time to time at around $330.

I would love to spend close to that amount for a TV close to 55 inches and has the picture quality that'll look like a big enough upgrade for my Xbox. I don't necessarily need a crazy viewing angle, this'll be used mostly in my bedroom at a close distance, mainly for video games and the occasional streamed movie/sporting event. Am I being naive to think that this TV can check off all of my needs at a low price, or do I need to look elsewhere?
