Okay this might sound crazy but i actually changed the output of my xbox one to 720p in the settings and all the issues went away. no more red flashes, no more slight freezes. I think it might have to do with the use of an adaptive resolution and forcing it to stay at 720 might be fixing it. also if you dont have luck with that i heard turning off the game dvr helped some people. happy hunting!
