right now I am using a small asus notebook to stream to twitch. I stream my xbox to my laptop using the windows 10 xbox app and I use OBS game capture to stream to the twitch. I played with the settings in OBS to get a stable stream and all was well but it put alot of strain on my computer. Recently there was a update on windows 10 that threw everything out of whack. I needed a more powerful computer to begin with just to allow me to run a higher bitrate in OBS for a even better quality stream. I was able to stream 720p on twitch then all the sudden it wont allow me to stream using a higher bitrate without really high frame drop and encoding overload. So what I am looking for is a computer with higher processing power so when I run OBS it doesn't slow everything down. Could someone recommend me a laptop that would have good processing power to screen share my gaming?
