When was the first time you went from playing a game in SD to HD? It was Minecraft on the Xbox 360 in 2013 for me.

The first time I went from playing games on SD to HD was Minecraft for the Xbox 360 in 2013.

I had an HD TV since 2012. I didn't know much about tech, even though I used it all the time. I didn't know computer specs and for some reason I never really used the internet to research any of this. I do now though.

So just to start of gaming history, I've been playing games since the mid 90's.

I played on a PS1, SNES, N64, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advanced(and SP), PS2, GameCube, Xbox, DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, 3DS, Xbox One and PC.

So all around I have played on a diverse amount of platforms.

Now remember that research I mentioned? I only started doing that in 2011 but only to look up games and achievements, nothing else.

So I get Minecraft in 2013 and my sister wants to play with me.

I try to get her setup but nothing I do is working. So I go online and it says you need to have the game running at 720p or greater.

For that you needed my HDMI or Component cable, so I look at my local GameStop and find a component cable and head home.

I plug it in but nothing is working. I then notice a switch on the cable to turn on HD.

I do this while looking at the screen, and when it changes to HD, I am blown away.

I was blown away by playing MINECRAFT in HD.

MINECRAFT was the first game I played in HD.

IN 2013.
