Planning to use for my future Xbox One X. Questions I have are:
-
HDR? No issues here for HDR support on games or other HDR future content right?
-
10 Bit panel VS 8 Bit + FRC: I know True 10 Bit is better but does anyone know if this is a NOTICEABLE difference between true 10 and 8+FRC? If its minor and not major differences, I dont care.
-
Any other thoughts?
Im looking to buy my TV from thesource ideally (I get a 10% discount there and warranty for cheaper), this popped up recently VS the JU6300 curved I had ordered for about $720 (minor scratch/dent on back, not noticeable when mounted) but that TV doesnt have HDR.
Quick notes:
-
NOT looking to get a TCL/Vizio etc brand TV. While they are cost effective, from my experience and the advice of several people who work in the TV industry, they dont typically last more than 3-4 years and have lower quality components. Plus my store doesnt sell these brands anyways
-
Viewing angle makes little to NO difference to me. Im going to be using the TV alone 98% of the time, sitting directly infront of it mounted at eye level sitting down.
-
Audio also makes no difference to me, I have a Bose surround sound system that everything is getting plugged into.
All in all, I can pick this baby up for $990 Canadian dollars (+$100 for 3 year warranty which covers literally everything outside of lost/stolen) and its a 58' which to me is ideal size. If there is no glaring issues here, this seems to be the pick.
