I already understood what Square is doing: they're planning on keeping FFXV for this console generation. On PS5 and Xbox Two/720 we'll play FFXVI. Plus, this game is objectively a commercial, which is technically bad, BUT, if it's good, why you should shit on it? Just because you bought "a commercial that's good"? What if Square needs money? They're almost every time on the edge of bankrupt, they made this game as it is to recover some cash BECAUSE THEY NEED IT.
The AC collaboration, the Forza 3 collaboration, all the "out of game content" (Kingsglaive, King's Knight, etc...) they are doing it because they need money. If you don't like it, fine, but please. PLEASE. Stop shitting on the game: the game is good, the DLCs are good (Gladio's is 50/50, Prompto's is just awesome) and the post-release support is amazing.
Square is still working on FFXV because they released it incomplete. Why did they released an incomplete game? BECAUSE THEY NEEDED MONEY. They are spending the money you gave them to "finish" the game, and I personally don't feel like it's a bad thing: it keeps the game fresh and gives me incentives to go back on it once in a while.
I personally like this game, and it's probably one of my favourite Final Fantasy of all time (I played almost all of them until the end), I don't mind seeing these kind of things because I WANT MORE.
Remember one thing: if you stop supporting FFXV, you'll probably never see a well-made FFXVI, which is something you DON'T want.
