Provide any additional details you wish below.

Just for some context, I'm a first time builder (current console and Mac pleb, pls forgive me ;_;), and I've recently come to understand how truly inferior console gaming is. As a result, I really want to get into PC gaming, but I'm still very unfamiliar with building in general.

I'm looking to build a pretty high quality rig, and I've come up with a parts list based off very minimal knowledge and a few days of research, and I was looking to get some feedback on it.

I have five questions that I hope this sub could help me address:

  1. Is my motherboard compatible with all the parts I've selected? I've had the hardest time trying to figure this out, and I wanted to make sure I've done this correctly.

  2. Will the case I've listed fit all the components I plan on purchasing? I'm not too sure on this as I'm still a little uncertain on how everything fits into the unit.

  3. Is this a future resistant build? I don't want to create a PC from scratch only for it to be outdated in a couple years.

  4. Is it worth it to spend so much on my first rig? Will I even notice the benefits from higher quality components?

  5. Am I getting ripped off somewhere along the line? I'm not overly cost conscious on this build but I want to make sure I'm not overpaying for anything.

Final notes:

I also need to purchase a mouse, keyboard, and a headset, but I'm planning on going to a store to test those out in person before purchasing online.

Any other comments and suggestions are warmly welcomed (feel free to berate my former Xbox and Apple allegiance; I probably deserve it) and thanks in advance for any help!!!
