Streaming PC (mostly)

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

Primary use will be streaming. Games will be played on an Xbox and sent to the PC through an Elgato HD60s capture card (which I already own). At this point I don't expect to do much gaming on the PC itself. Shooting for 720p 60 fps on the stream. An additional use is I will be running some electrical engineering type software such as MATLAB, PSPICE, and hobby level AutoCAD use.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

Ideally $750, but no more than $1000.

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

ASAP

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

Everything except the OS, keyboard, and mouse

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location? South Carolina. No Microcenter here.

If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse. K520 and m510

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

Unless given a compelling reason, I don't intend to overclock.

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

SSD seems desirable

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

Micro or mid tower. I would rather not have my computer glowing with 15000 different lights. That said, budget is priority and I am capable of disabling any light.

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

I have a copy of Windows 10 Pro, so please do not include one in the budget.

Extra info or particulars:

I used to regularly build PCs, but have been out of it for a little over 10 years, so I would appreciate any extra advice on it. For reference, the last one I built was probably a Pentium 4. I have been trying to get myself up to date on equipment now, probably my two biggest questions are: Do I need an i7, is an i5 sufficient? Do I need a dedicated graphics card?

This is the build I've managed to come up with on my own, just don't know if it's enough: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/B93rjc
