Hi everyone
I always had problems with Netflix quality from Windows devices. I had a Windows 8.1 laptop and I used to plug in TV with the hdmi cable to watch Netflix. It didn't look so good, I could see some squares in dark scenes, some scenes looked low-res (while other looked HD) there was some mini buy annoying stuttering.
I bought a brand-new i3 4gb ram laptop, with Windows 10. I thought it was my older laptop hardware, but Netflix keeps having the same problems in the new hardware.
Both with the Windows 10 app and via browser, the problem persists. I have tried to force a higher bitrate (ctrl + alt + s) and also put in the configs to always stream at high quality.
Then yesterday I put my old Xbox 360 out of the box and installed the Netflix app. To my surprise, it looks absolutely gorgeous. No stuttering at all. Superb HD image. (my TV is 720p so I don't bother about 1080p or 4k)
Is it normal that the Netflix PC streaming is problematic or is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
