Hey guys so my current desktop which is is just 4gb Ram and a crappy chip is useless and wont even do 720p 30fps for live streaming via my Elgato HD60.
Now I must say before you give me advice I dont play PC games whatsoever so my setup only needs to be good enough for me to play Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox one games via live streaming on the Elgato.
Is an i5 with 8gb ram going to be enough, or do I need an i7 with 8/16gb? I want to be able to stream all games in atleast 720p without worries and would want to add webcam image etc to the stream which uses more power.
And if it came down to it is an i5 with 16gb ram better or an i7 with 8gb ram.
Sorry I am a noob with specs so from the research ive done this is where its got me but I want your guys advice before I purchase something. Also I am in the UK if someone wants to link me to an amazon/ebay desktop that suits my needs. I already have the monitor and bits.
