Posted in r/budgetaudiophile due to Craigslist, but felt posting here might gain me some insight on the brand and model. Any of you had NHTs in the 90s?

Picking up a pair of quirky NHT VT-1A tower speakers in white! for my 11yo son's first pair of "audiophile" speakers. They look great, will be taking a listen to them tonight, and I believe with a budget sub and my old Sony AVR from the early 2000s, will get him a decent initial taste in better sound quality. Between my gear from yester years (old Sony 720p HD set, Xbox 360 and PS3, the Sony amp and now these NHTs), I think this will be a great way to introduce him to the stark difference between "TV Speakers" and better sound :) check them out!
