Help me pick a new console!

So i'm typically years behind in gaming consoles. The most recent console i have is a Wii and a DS Lite. I want something to play new-ish games on because i've exhausted a lot of the classic games and emulators and original xbox and gamecube stuff. I can get whatever older games and Nintendo stuff on my wii or DS. I want to see what great titles are out there.

Before I say ANYTHING else , let me say that i don't give a shit about whether you like Sony or microsoft better. This is not about the "best" console, i just want an opinion on which you think would be good for me.

Couple things:

1) On a tight budget. I would probably be picking something up used from craigslist. Preferably no more than $150 for just the console. I think an advantage of something like a PS3 or Xbox 360 would be the wide variety of great games i can pick up for like $10. I dont need the newest games, because i've never spent more than $30 on a game and am not looking to. I buy consoles and games that are 5+ years old because theyre easy on my wallet.

2) I don't really give a shit about first person shooters. I dont really play them. I dont play online either. I enjoy RPGs, things like KOTOR, Skyrim, Zelda, Metroid, etc. I am kind of a nintendo fan mostly because i actually enjoy their titles. I like unique games that focus on the gameplay. For me to get hooked on a game it has to have some type of RPG quality, whether that's being able to progressively upgrade weaponry or skills or buy new equipment, etc. I really dont care about graphics. As far as i'm concerned, as long as it looks better than the original xbox or gamecube and it's 720p, it's good with me. Greater power and graphics is a bonus if i can have them, but it's not a dealbreaker. That being said, I really really loved The Last of Us and thought it was probably the most gorgeous game i've ever seen. I dont think anything will come close, but if there is another game that can touch it, i'd be all ears. My other favorite, similar game is Resident Evil 4. Games like bioshock look interesting. I love a lot of nintendo stuff. Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, Pikman. I'm worried that i won't be able to get creative games like these on a playstation or xbox.

3) I have a PC that is decently capable. There are two issues here however: 1) I dont like sitting at my desk to play games. My PC is used for video editing which is my work and i cant be moving stuff around whenever i want to play. The PC has to stay in my office. I played Skyrim for a bit but would prefer to be able to chill on my couch with my sound system and a beer. Issue 2) graphics card is underpowered for a lot of games. Specs: i7 2600k OC'd to 4.8GHz, 32gb Memory, SSD, GTX750ti, 2x 1TB HDDs, 2x 1440p Acer G257HU monitors. I'm aware that i will get far more performance out of my PC than getting a console, but a console seems easier because i can keep it in the living room.

Xbox 360? PS3? PS4? Xbox one? Wii U? I've been out of this for way too long. Craigslist is littered with people trying to get rid of even like ps4 or xbox ones for like $100. What do you think would be a good choice with a deep library of great games that i can pick up for cheap?
