Hey I'm a LA based musician with tons of friends that either do music, arts and own local businesses and have been looking for a fun way to help promote them. I'm a huge gamer (Xbox) and I know a lot of my friends are too. So I was thinking about doing a weekly game streaming show that would allow them to promote any new media or sales/deals they want to advertise. Like if my friend's band is releasing a new EP they can tell all their fans to watch the show to hear some new tracks and any questions they have etc. I need to be able to play music from either a phone aux or laptop aux at the highest quality possible using YouTube to broadcast live and archive content. What would be the most quality cost effective way of doing something like this? My equipment right now consists of: Xbox One w/kinect, controller w/chat adapter, Acer laptop w/ windows 7 Intel Pentium P6100 4ghz processor and 8gb RAM. I have a really good windows 10 desktop in my studio but it'd be a pain moving it out and setting it up for a hour long show but if that's what's needed I'll utilize it, I just would rather use the laptop (which actually runs very well). I don't care about the newest technology I just want to be able to stream at 720p. Thank you for all suggestions and Game On!
