Hello! Just what it says on the title, i have been having a lot of trouble with headaches and motion sickness from led tvs. The most recent one i have tried was a 48" vizio d 1080p set and i would feel sick after about an hour of use, especially gaming. It is more than just backlight pwm flicker, i also tried a flicker free tcl 50fs3800 and had similar issues just not as intense, but not worth it to keep the tv.
I have been using an old 43" 720p pioneer plasma for years with absolutely no sickness issues and would really like to at least step up to native 1080p.
I would love to hear any opinions on this issue, i cannot afford an oled tv, my budget maxes out at $800. I am wondering if i should just forgo led tvs and hdr gaming on the xbox and pickup a 5 year old plasma.
