Total budget and country of purchase: $200-$400 USA. I could possibly stretch it a bit more if necessary.

Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. I definitely prefer a 2 in 1, although I feel like to get that functionality I'll be losing out on specs? How correct is that? Either way it's preferable. I don't need good battery life per se, just the average battery life. I would like good specs for the gaming I'm doing and or office work - see below.
-
How important is weight to you? Obviously the lighter the better, but as long as it's not as heavy as bricks, it's not the worst thing, average weight is fine.
-
Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Windows 10 (I don't know the difference between 32 and 64 bit though.)
-
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A a larger screen probably wouldn't be so bad because it gives a better gaming and cinematic experience. I'm guessing 1080p is the usual screen resolution, or is 720p fine as well?

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. If you have no requirements, put N/A. I might use my Photoshop Elements 10, but it's probably not too much work, and most of the programs I would be running would just be basic browsers and the games I'm putting below.

If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? I'd probably be doing casual gaming, including games like Runescape, Team Fortress 2, Fallout 3(unless I could play 4 also), CounterStrike GO, Halo 1 and 2, and hopefully Halo Online. I'm mainly looking at playing games like CounterStrike smoothly. Being able to play harder games would be fine, but it's not necessary.
I'm an Xbox One player, so the FPS doesn't matter too much as long as it's smooth. The graphics and high settings don't matter too much to me. I can play on low settings as long as it's usable.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? As long as the keyboard is manageable, I'm fine. As I said before, I would prefer a 2 in 1, so obviously touch screen. As long as it's good build quality I'm fine. I don't need a fingerprint sensor, but I would like to have an optical drive.

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. As I said in the title, this is my first laptop, so I'm not so good at choosing for myself, and I trust all of your guy's judgment. Also, I'm looking to get a deal, and think that it would be best to wait for either Thanksgiving deals, Black Friday deals, or Cyber Monday deals. What do you think? I don't have much in the way of a budget, but want to get the best I can with the money to let me casually play games even at low settings (but smooth FPS), and in general have a good laptop for all around use.
Thank you so much, and I hope to be able to buy a great laptop with your help!
