I have done quite a bit of reading on this TV and saw that my local Best Buy had the P75 setup. I went in looking at a line of high end 4k TVs before getting to the P75 and I was completely underwhelmed and so was my wife. The colors were not as rich and picture seemed washed out. Next to it were an LG 75uh8500 and a Sony xbr75 850D. Those both blew it out of the water in brightness and color/vividness.
Can anyone give me some incite as to why as they all were playing 4k content.
Currently I run a 65" Mitsubishi DLP I got 5 years ago and to be honest has been awesome. I play a lot of games (ps4 and Xbox one) and the input lag is next to none and everything looks great. Watching Blurays are amazing. For TV I have PlayStation Vue so it's only 720p but no complaints ony end.
This TV is in my theater room which is blacked out. The ceiling and back to wall are also painted black. With lights off the dlp is very bright.
I am contemplating getting a new TV so I can mount on the wall. Can anyone fill me in on why the p75 looked worse and if it would fit my needs?
Looking to spending $2-4K but cheaper the better if it fits my needs. Want 75"
