Budget gaming PC so I can take arrows to the knee in 1080p!

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

  • I'd like to be able to stream 720p video, and play games at 1080p. Any current gen games I'd like to be able to play on at least high 60fps 1080p. Like the witcher 3 or Battlefield 1. I play a lot of League of legends, and some MMORPG's like Runescape and Vindictus which I'd like to run on the best settings since I feel they are less demanding. I'd really like to play an Ultra modded Skyrim with 2k textures and ENB, at 60fps 1080p as well. I do sometimes edit in photoshop on the side but that's not something I'm too worried about.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

  • Ideally I'd like to spend 400-500 before a GPU I'd be willing to spend $400~ for a GPU so no more than $900 for the full build.

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

  • If the PC is on the lower end of my budget 2-3 weeks, if it's near the upper end 1-2 months.

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

  • I'd just be needing the tower, but I'd really be happy to get a suggestion for a pair of 1080p monitors!

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

  • USA, Minnesota. I believe there is a micro center a few cities away.

If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

  • https://i.imgur.com/pBjP03M.png This is what I currently have as far as internals, which if I could save any of the parts I'd like to re use as many as possible, of course if it would make more sense to get new parts I'd completely understand. For peripherals I have a Ttesports Poseidon mechanical keyboard, a blue yeti microphone, and a death adder chroma. I also currently have an Xbox 360 controller wired, to paly Skyrim if that's relevant at all. I also have a USB wifi adapter.

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

  • If overclocking is simple enough to not brick my PC I'd ideally like to do it right away on all applicable parts!

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

  • An SSD is the only thing I can think of, but if there are any things that would improve performance outside of the main components I'd love to be enlightened.

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

  • Honestly, whatever is easy to work in is my biggest concern so I'm not sure about sizes, but any black and red combo with a window would be neat! LED's aren't important but for an extra $20~ I wouldn't mind at all.

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

  • Nope, no windows needed.

Thank you in advance to anyone who helps out, I'd like to think I've done my research but I've never built my own PC.
