I am looking for a simple laptop for mainly typing minutes ( record of a meeting ) and play around with whenever it is not used for a while.
Total budget and country of purchase: The Netherlands, budget can go up till 1200 Euro's

Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. I am not sure what this multitude of form factors would even do for me. For battery I would like it to last at least 3 hours while typing. I will most likely use an USB keyboard since I can't work on a laptop keyboard even if my life depended on it ( so form factor goes out the window ). It would however be really awesome if there was a fanless laptop, it is going to be typed on during a meeting after all.

How important is weight to you? Not
-
Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Windows OS. However I would like it if I were at least capable to put Linux on there maybe somewhere in the future, or when I am bored out of my mind and decide to 'play' with it.
-
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. I would like for it to have no problem being connected to a beamer ( projector ), other than that N/A.
-
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. If you have no requirements, put N/A. Only "just for fun" "quick" or "party" style games.
-
If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? A SNES emulator Party games like Lovers in a Dangerous Timespace ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/252110/ ) and Jackbox Games ( things that go great on a beamer and a couple of controllers And maybe Terraria.
-
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? No, I will most likely use a mouse and keyboard on the side anyway, tape over the camera, and have no use for touch-screen, finger-print reader, or even a card-reader, I would like a Kensington Security Slot though

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I looked at the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S-11IBY ( the one with an SSD ) and thought it was nice, however nowhere I can find if it has a fan or not. Also I have no idea how to attach a VGA cable on that thing, or if I can even attach a USB hub in case I need to attach 4 XboX 360 controllers ( for just that one time )... Or wheter it even likes that the beamer output is in 720P
