First build and need advice before ordering. Ascending to PC and ultrawide master races. Currently $2200 including monitor.

I want this build to last at least 5 years and still be performing. I've been debating getting the x34 and a gtx 1080, but for an extra $1000 that doesn't seem worth it, especially since I've been playing on xbox one and will get a huge difference anyway. However I hate any lag and screen tearing, so the G-Sync is very tempting, especially from what I've heard from other people.
