Do you need more VRAM depending upon screen size?

Hello! I use a 38.5" TV as my monitor just so we know why I'm asking.

I've never been able to afford a dedicated GPU, often playing games at 720P so I can get 60+fps on my HTPCs AMD A10 integrated card when I decide to play games on my sole PC.

At this point, I think I'm ready to sell my Xbox and try again on building a PC that can handle what I want to play. I have most of the parts picked out, but the one question I have is if I need more "oomph" since I'll be pushing a TV that's bigger than the biggest PC monitor out there right now?

I've tried looking it up but of course, I can't find an answer other than 4gbs of VRAM are enough for most PC games. Enough for what? a 27inch monitor? a 40? I just really need a yes or no kind of answer. I can post a couple games I want to play if that would help as I have a shortlist of games I really feel like it should play if I'm selling my Xbox.

Let me know if this needs to be moved/posted to r/hardware. Thanks for any answers in advance!
