What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
- I'd like to reach 1080p 60fps on games like Witcher, Skyrim, Fallout, No Man's Sky, Battlefield, and Civ 6. 720 is fine if it's a lot cheaper but it needs to be doing 60fps for decent settings on shooters. I'd also like to be doing a bit of light video editing in Adobe After effects and Sony Vegas Pro. As well as using Photoshop.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
- Maximum would be 950 USD, but that's really stretching it, I'm looking to stay around 650-800 ideally.
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
- ASAP
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
- I have a copy of Windows, a keyboard + mouse, a monitor, and an external HDD. Though I wouldn't mind an upgrade to the keyboard if it's cheap. So everything except that.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
- US, MA. There's one nearby if a part has to be from them, but it's about 45 minutes away
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
- Keyboard - some crappy HP one that came with my last PC. Mouse - Redragon S101 Centrophorus USB Gaming Mouse. Monitor - Viewsonic VX2252MH (This will be able to do 60fps or higher right?)
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
- No
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
- I'd like to have an SSD since I've heard it loads games up crazy fast but it's not required at all, also a bit more storage wouldn't hurt if it doesn't make the price go way up.
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
- Zero preference, I guess Orange/Black if that's possible?
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
- I prefer mac (jk)
Extra info or particulars:
Thank you so much for any help, I'ts a bit scary moving away from my xbox since it's what I've always used. But I literally can't play overwatch anymore because the aiming is so freaking awful.
