Elgato Capture HD on system with minimal requirements.

Good day.

I'm thinking about getting the older model Elgato Capture HD , mainly to record footage from Xbox1 and 360.

My TV only supports 720P and 1080i , and my Laptop has a 2.0 Ghz processor with 4GB installed RAM.

I'm wondering if there are any issues to expect or things to be wary of because my system only meets the minimal requirements ?

Could this cause lesser quality footage , or have a negative impact on the quality after being done editing ?

I'm planning on formatting and factory resetting my laptop before capturing so my system runs smooth again.
