TS - 251+ for plex and backups

I'm leaning toward a TS-251+ to run plex, (most of my stuff is 720, I have a few 1080 movies. End points are roku 2 and xbox one) sonarr, couchpotato, and sabnzbd. As well as backup my local computers, mobile phones, and 2 remote computers for my inlaws. Qsync looks like it will work perfect for the mobile and remote backups.

I'm comparing this with building a box and running unraid, which I think I'd have to run owncloud to get the remote and mobile backups. building my own box would allow for more power and storage for about the same cost as the 251+

but the Qnap would require less upkeep.....

Looking for feedback on my use case and for 251+ users experiences.
