I went mad scientist tonight and got two-computer streaming with Wirecast working without Ubuntu or any crazy-hard-to-configure RTMP stuff.

Obligatory: Yes, this still uses RTMP, but it's a hell of a lot easier than existing guides.

Figured this might be of use to someone. I play via Steam Link and an Xbox 360 controller so my second monitor, keyboard, etc aren't readily available for any type of in-depth streaming (cutscenes, overlays, etc).

Here's my mildly crazy (and actually somewhat easy to configure) solution. First, we use OBS to capture the game/screen as is expected.

Install Unreal Media Server and setup a "push" rebroadcast stream, then configure OBS to stream to Unreal. From there, you just setup Wirecast to use a "Web Stream" source and point it at Unreal.

I'm able to push 1080p60fps from OBS to Unreal to Wirecast, and then 720p30fps to Twitch. My poor laptop chokes on anything greater than that.

If anyone is interested in knowing more, I'd be happy to put together a comprehensive guide and some demo footage.
