The Astro Gaming MixAmp - Better to use A40's or get something else to go with it?

Hey everyone, sorry if this isn't the right place for this but I figured I would get a much more informed opinion here than by asking on a gaming subreddit.

My trusty Triton 720+'s are finally dying after 7 years of heavy use and it's time to get a new gaming rig. I'm pretty sure I want the Astro gaming MixAmp pro but please tell me if there are better options.

My question is on the headphones. Should I get the A40 kit or go with a different set of headphones to pair with the mixamp?

I need it to be compatible with a mic and the audio quality from the mic needs to be good as well.

My shadow play settings are 720 60 fps and when i start recording the games i don't see any performance hit. My games are running well over 60 fps (120 to even 200 fps) and when I go take a look at the file after i am done the videos are recorded in a range from 23 to 45 fps. the videos look really choppy due to the fps is there any fix for this? its been happening since i have been using Win 10 64 bit and i did some research to take out the Xbox DVR thing but the problem still persist.

What is the best SNES capture card

Hey guys. I recently got into speed running Super Metroid and would like to do some casting and capturing. I have a Hauppauge HD PVR but not sure if due to age or software it doesn't work. I have my RF connection going to the TV, RCA going to the card, but for some reason the stream freezes every minute or so and cuts like 5-10 seconds. I'm looking for something that can simply capture the RCA, don't really care about splitting since I use RF for gameplay. Anyone with experience willing to recommend a card? Or maybe my setup is causing the issue? I've used the card to capture Xbox 360@720p with no issues, I don't see why RCA would freeze.

This was the first run to see sub 50, which was my goal soon after running this game, I am very proud of this run. Biggest mistake was probably Sekto, I rushed in too early.

I ate a Carolina Reaper post run as I promised I would if I achieved my goal of sub 50. It was brutal, but I was okay after 5 minutes.

For those who don't know, Stranger's Wrath is an incredible speedgame, that's very easy to learn, beginner friendly, and fun to practice thanks to quicksaves. Casually the game is much more slow paced and there's a lot of strategy involved. I feel like the sequence breaks make this game incredibly fun to run. Also you can run the HD version if you don't have an OG Xbox, it's $9.99 on Steam & loading times are faster.

Before we get started, here's the link to Moonlight, which is what I'll be writing about today. And here is the direct link to the github where they release their PC version. The application is also available on iOS, Android and on the Amazon Store (I'm assuming for those with an Amazon device).

What am I talking about

I'm talking about Nvidia's Gamestream feature which lets anyone with an Nvidia card (600 series and up) stream a game to a friend and also let that friend participate in the game with low latency, which makes it possible to play some local co-op games together.

Moonlight does the exact same thing but with a bit more freedom and more features.

Limitations of Nvidia Gamestream

As of writing, the current limitations (that I can think of at least) are as follow:

Only games that support exclusive fullscreen work. Nothing else.
One hour limit of the stream. After one hour, the joining player will be disconnected and the host will have to send a new invite.
The stream is limited to 720p and 30fps.
The joining player cannot use a controller (like the Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller) on his/her computer.

Features of Moonlight that differ from Nvidia's own Gamestream

All games are supported. Even programs. Stream whatever you want and let your friend take control of your mouse.
No time limit whatsoever.
Stream is only limited to the host's resolution. Options to change resolution of the stream, 30/60 fps and bitrate are available.
The joining player can use a controller and can even rebind controls.

Give your friend your IP.
When your friend tries to pair with you, give him/her the code that pops up.

[Question] Youtube shitting the bed.

Only place I can think of asking this, has youtube just shit the bed for anyone else? For WEEKS now youtube has been awful for me on computers. Even if I'm directly connected to my modem I can barley watch 45 seconds of a 720p 5 minute video. All I receive is constant buffering, or pages just not loading at all. I've tried everything from different browsers to restarting my modem multiple times. Yet I still can't watch the simplest videos.

However if I'm on my phone, or using my xbox videos load up like it's nothing without any buffering or completely freezing.

So anyone else having a similar experience?
