I am looking for a nice but offordable replacement for my broken Samsung Galaxy S4, but theres so much choice I have no idea where to start and what is good or not. There are so many mixed reviews. Maybe some of you guys can help me make my choice easier. I do know what feanetherlands.t.
- Easy to root and easy to install roms on (prefereable with a wide variety of available roms, but most importantly Cyanogenmod)
- The speed should be like the s4 or better (Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600, Quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300, Adreno 320)
- I want a sd card slot (that the reason i don't want a OneplusOne, it doesn't have one)
- 3.5 mm jack for listening music (I don't think theres a phone without it nowadays, but you never know)
- Regular (micro) USB cable/connector (not some weird apple shit)
- Wifi (obviously)
- Bluetooth
- notification led
- Dimensions like the S4 (136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm (5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 in)). A bit bigger is fine too, but prefereable not as big as the Samsung galaxy note phones. With a 5 inch screen or bigger.
- I'd like to have a decently lasting battery
- A good camera (like the S4 was fine, i don't need 398939MP if the quality is still meh, just a proper cam and a front cam)
- Maybe an extra strong glass that doesn't break fast, but if it makes the phone much more expensive i'll pass on that and just try to not break it again.
I also like the more square designs. The S3 is a bit curvey, the S4 a bit less curvey, but I like the design of the A3 for instance. Just flat. But it's not that important to me.
I can't think of anything else that i really need, beside software things, but that just depends on the ROM I am going to install.
Prizing should be under 400 if possible.
Anyone has an idea? By the way, ill be using it in the netherlands.(telfort)
