FPS and refresh rate

Hello. I'm currently trying to optimize my settings for maximum FPS. For starters, my PC specs are NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 and Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz. Dxdiag tells me that my current display mode is 1920 x 1080 (32bit) (60Hz). Is this the reason why when I on Vsync, my FPS is constant at 60? Even though I'm using a 144Hz monitor (the resolution I'm using in Valorant is 1360 x 768 16:9 144Hz)?

Does my 4gb ram also have something to do as to why my FPS is just 60-100 (Vsync off) when I'm recording using Xbox game bar?

It did not work on any of them. I tried all the resolutions, with different HDMI and component cables I know are good because I am using them on other devices. I tried everything on two different Sony TV' sets. Changing the resolution produced no changes. I tried holding the resolution button down longer, etc., to no avail. The screen would either stay blank or display vertical wide bands of different colors. The best I was able to get was a screen split in half, with a fuzzy picture showing a duplicate image on the left and right halves of the screen. I even tried switching the order of the green-blue-red component cables, just in case they were mislabeled on this converter at the factory. After a couple of hours of trying different cables and devices and different ways, I gave up and decided return it because I couldn't think of anything else left to try. I am very good at this kind of thing, so I don't see what I could have done wrong. Perhaps I got a unit that is bad, I don't know, but it did not work for me. Helpful

I use them for my home office. I was so impressed with the first set that I use for my office that I purchased another for my wife’s office. These are very comfortable for long meetings and have noise reduction so that the ambient noise of my house doesn’t bother me.

I now purchased this new headset for my son and his gaming and music entertainment so he wouldn’t have to steal my office phones. He says they are a very good gaming headset and that the microphone is good and when he plays on-line his friends can hear him very well. He can plug in the USB and they light up which makes him look very cool. Note that the USB light is not in any way required except for esthetics and are not required for general use. He also said that they are great for listening to music and have great sound.

I would highly recommend these headphones. I have been using the G9900 for 7 months and love them and now they have this new and improved model. I have been recommending them to my co-workers and now I recommend them to you. You will love this headset. They are very well built and come at a very reasonable price.

The sound quality is good, and I like that it uses 3.5mm jacks instead of USB (the USB jack only controls the lights.) Which, for gaming, means there is no audio delay.

The speaker surrounds are well padded and comfortable.

The microphone is flexible, and had no complaints from other players, though I cannot verify it's exact clarity myself.

Lastly, the braided cable is on par with more expensive peripherals I've used.

Feel: • With the G9900 the first thing you’ll fall in love with is the fit of how the headset feels around your head. With the earmuffs being a little bit thicker and being made with different material than the G9000 it feels fitted to your face in a comfortable way. • When you put the headset on it feels like a perfect fit.
